For My Kids

i haven't been on here much, but every so often i try and keep up with the discussions.

i'm sure this topic has been talked about before, so my apologies in advance if i'm repeating.. a little about me.... i'm a non baptized jw married to a devout jw.

both my husband and i were raised in the organization.

You have one major advantage your not baptized! I don't know the ages of your kids but you can have open and honest discussions with your children. Start making a list of all the problems with the organization and what they have and are now teaching. Also have a list of all the scriptures they have changed in thier bibles. Then make a list of all the reasons why the bible is not a book to be taken seriously, all the prophecies that didn't come true , mathematical mistakes, contradictions and just plain crazy stories like Noah's flood.

Show your kids the science behind ice core samples and how they have 800,000 years of ice core and none of it shows a global flood. Mention how one drop of breast milk has I million white blood cells showing God didn't want people to kill themselves by not eating blood.

Get old copies of JW litature showing how their wrong all he time. Introduce these things slowly and as the kids mature enough to understand and if your husband says something just say all the evidence shows you have been deceived. The chances are very good all your kids will leave the cult. I wish I wasn't baptized!!

i spoke of this before.

for over a year now, one of my son's best friends is a jehovah's witness.

i never was freaked out about it or worried about my son being influenced.

I think a lot of JW communities are more liberal then your typical white conservative originally from England types. Even the white in California are way more liberal then those in the east or north west of the USA .

i don't think this has been picked up anywhere yet.

the revised nwt released in 2013 is already out of date.

the second half of psalm 51:4 now reads "therefore, you are righteous when you speak, you are right in your judgment" in the online version where the printed version reads "so that you might prove righteous when you speak, and be right in your judgment".. fairly unimportant in itself, but i wonder what else has been changed without telling anyone..

My Issue With the Kingdom Melodies

My issue with the kingdom melodies is they all suck and you want to drill a hole in your head and cut out your ears so you don't have to hear them anymore! Yuck!!!!

- in which european country, not member of the eu, and well known for their banking industry, jw.org and some affiliated structures do maintain some business incorporated structures and companies?.

- which is the purpose of these business and company structures?.
