Does the book of Ezekiel hint that the God of the Jews is not who they think he is?

ezekiel 28 talks about the "king of tyre" and in chap 28 starting vs 13 what he is made of.

it calls him a cherub and also lists these stones he was adorned with (here is something interesting....), "every precious stone adorned you:.

carnelian, chrysolite and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.

Interesting , one thing I have noticed is that just because it's in the bible doesn't mean the original writing was refuring to the same God. Take a look at the book of proverbs, said to be mostly written by Solomon, yet Wallis E Budge dug up writings that were the same yet in Egyptian written by Amenope and found to be several hundred years older. We also know that the original story of the flood involved many gods and the two main gods were Enlil and Enki. Enlil wanted to kill mankind with a flood and Enki saved them by telling a man to save himself and others by building a boat.

It would be interesting to see if there are other writings found out side of the bible talking about these Stones and which gods they relate to.

Could they be doing this to get ones to leave on the own and by this not have to pay them some kind of welfare later through the government?

I don't understand why thier playing that thier so broke? We know they have made close to a billion dollars in real estate sales and thier still collecting 100 of millions of dollars through donations. This plus they don't have the overhead they once had with them going digital reducing publications etc.

Contempt of court, case in San Diego county really disgusts me!

this case has to be talked about by ever awake jw every apostate everyone.

this case because they refuse to hand over documents the court already knows they have because they handed them over before but heavily redacted, is the icing on the cake!

this case shows thier evil plain and simple.

The one thing they did that really smacks of stupidity is fighting the first ruling. They could of just paid the 13.5 million but now there being fined continually until they turn over the documents and the fines will probably go up. So in thier arrogance they have screwed the pooch, let's hope.

Do witness children have to be obediant to their disfellowshipped parent if the parents are separated.

hi.i am disfellowshipped and separated from my jehovahs witness wife and i am having custody problems with my 13 year old daughter.she has been advised by her mother that she does not have to listen to me and so she dictates to me when she comes to stay.it seems i have lost any fatherly authority and my ex wife has given my daughter the ability to go against my wishes in regards to custody arrangements.having grown up a witness i understand that even though a parent is disfellowshipped the child must still obey the biblical command to be obedient to there parents.it also teaches that the wife must support her ex husband in regards to parenting.i am trying to find any watchtower/awake articles that support this.in any case i would appreciate any links ,information or advice.. regards pat..

One of my children told me that I don't matter so it's possible that the jws are telling kids that non believers or faders or dfd don't matter. By the way dfd are dead in thier eyes so again she probably been told you don't matter.

satan supposedly wanted to be like god and be worshiped - you know, the whole pride thing.

they really made a big deal about how his "thoughts" led to his sin in the garden of eden and how we need to control our thoughts to avoid the same result.

This case shows thier evil plain and simple. They try to hide the fact that thier evil by saying they abhor child abuse but they will not cooperate with the courts, proving thier liars. This is the real chance people have to show thier family's who these people really are!! This case need to be talked about written about YouTube about shouted about!! There's no excuse anyone can use to justify their actions here plain and simple!! It's time to let them have it all guns blazing!!!

A sister I knew has passed away: I may go to the funeral

a sister that i knew has passed away recently.

we weren't friends, but back in the days, she, and her family, were among the people i would always talk to at the hall and assemblies.

she was the type of sister that was kind and probably had more love to share than most people i know.

I went to a funeral last year for the same reasons, in the end they give you crazy looks and it just turns into an infomercial like you said. It's not worth it I only went because close family was going and it would look really bad if I didn't go.

Depending on which bible you read the ark could have been as long as 450-500 feet. I read the key to make it all stick together just so, so it would not sink was a product called bullshit, lots and lots of bullshit.

God does not desire any to be destroyed?

so if the idea is promoted that god doesn't want anyone to be destroyed, why does he make it so confusing for people to learn about him?.

why are there thousands of differing religions?.

why has "his only true organisation" even taught so many varying doctrines?.

One has to put the pages of the bible on a turn table then play it backwards, all truths will then be revealed and one will abtain righteousness and everlasting life. It's also important that one play it back at speed 45 any other speed and demons will eat your eyes out and your Brian will melt out your ears. You heard it here first, be afraid very afraid!!!!!
