there is no christian religion that teaches this, nor the wt, etc.

the real one that the watchtower twists to it's meaning is this one....... ez, entire chapter of 38 and 39. .
Revelations seams to be a book that take parts from the Old Testament and some from the book of Enoch. I wouldn't be surprised if there some Sumerian and Egyptian writings that have similar information. I think there a lot more in the book of Zechariah too.
I just read some Sumerian writings talking about the righteous in inheriting the land and another Babylonia writing that reads much like the sermon on the mount.
so in an effort to relieve some pressure here are what i term the low-lites of yesterday's assembly that i had to endure for the sake of family still in and my progressing fade.

Since most people in the congregations can't even make ends meet working full time I can't understand how they can listen to the bullshit about working only part time. This always was a major problem with me growing up. Putting your trust in jehovah and he will provide, but he never did. My parents were poor and I struggled even when working full time. My father became a ms, pioneered, same as my mom. He then became an elder yet he never was taken care of financially by the big J. They just struggled.
now, i have been mentally "awake" for quite a while, but i'll just say march/april this year.
i won't go into detail about what it was that made me "realize" everything, so don't bother asking.. so, i've known for years that i wasn't like most girls in my classes, kingdom hall, and just in general.
from a very young age i had that obvious interest in the same sex, but seeing as i was seemingly the only one feeling that way i would brush it off and eventually i started getting interested in guys.
Your sister maybe just awesome we'll have to wait and see. I think younger ones are more capable of these idea and realities without the judgemental hate.
ok so this week's wt study article is entitled "why must we keep on the watch?"..
it is filled with statements on the importance of "being watchful" for the beginning of the "great tribulation".
paragraph 2: “keep looking, keep awake, for you do not know when the appointed time is.”after that, jesus admonished them repeatedly: “keep on the watch.”.
Here is the most telling of thoughts about when the end will be. In the last chapter of the last book of the bible john says that Jesus is coming quickly and very soon 5 times. 3 of these times he quotes Jesus as saying this. These scriptures were thought to be written in and about the year 98 AD. Even if this chapter was written later lets say around 300 AD., that's still roughly 1700 years ago.
So these scriptures is very telling as to the accuracy of the bible and when Jesus is to appear . Almost 2000 years and still no Jesus but he is coming quickly.
so, he received a letter that i am wondering if it is one of those open letters that are out there to denote time given.
it starts out with the name of the person sending it, then goes into the spiel...do you know our god's name?
when i was shown what it is, i kind of got upset.
Tell your husband gods name is EL, have him Wikipedia the name Yahweh it will explain it pretty will . Then have him look up the name of the Canaanite God El , he'll see that this God is the same as the God of the Old Testament with some Baal worship thrown in.
i think as we become a more enlightened society in the future we will be able to.i think laws of this nature may be in the works in some countries right now perhaps not addressing the actual mind control issue in those terms but laws to protect its subject from those that use those tactics to harm their people through fraudulent means.
so i think the wt hope for financial survival in the information age is very slim.
look at what spain, russia, are already doing.. but they may just go under financially from way sooner because of multple lawsuits and loss of charity status in one country after another..
What is Spain doing and it would be nice if a suit was braught and see what the courts would say.
i have just read an interesting article by astrobiologist jacob haq-misra.. in this article he describes a process called "directed panspermia" as a plausible way that one form of intelligent design - one not related with religious driven agendas involving theism - could be involved in the process by which life developed on earth and possibly in other planets as well.. sounds like a speculation that's worth entertaining.

I think man with all thier tools and intelegence should be able to create life, especially when the theory is that life was created randomly by some random event.
i turned in my letter of disassociation on september 18, 2001 but it was 9/11 that showed me what the witnesses really feel about human lives and the future wished for.. i was in limbo after my wife of 27 years left me on july 30, 2001. she knew i wasn't buying the jw program anymore.
she told me she come back to me when "i got my head straighten out about god and the church".. so for 40 days i was in limbo.
i stopped going to meetings.
Yep the great God of love does nothing for mankind when in need. That picture of that poor baby in Africa about to die with a vulchur waiting to eat him was very telling for me. Witnesses are really out of touch thier pathetic! My daughter was very sick over the last couple of years and couldn't go to meetings. The friends her close friends stopped coming around and when she was off getting treatment a while ago not one person from her congregation called her. Of course when she got home and was healthy enough to go to her first meeting in a long time they were so excited to see her. Bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand what your saying Cofty but the fact that man can't and hasn't been able to create life is a major problem, so the idea that life may have come from beyond this planet is a realistic idea.
