Just a couple of things recently . Co of congregation daughter not sure if baptized or not moves in with her worldly boyfriend and nothing happens to her and people even continue so associate with her etc.
my child was deathly ill and the wife and some of her friends started a fund drive to help to pay for medical treatment and travel. Most jws in hall don't donate a dime and not even one elder, 'mostly just the friends of the wife and daughter.
according to christianity, the death of jesus was a miscarriage of justice.
so then, what if there was no so-called miscarriage of justice so that jesus was not put to death by the romans but he instead died a natural death?
would christians still receive the forgiveness of their sins and their hoped for salvation?.
The whole death sacrifice this is just a passion play. In all reality there was no reason for him to be murdered. All he had to do is die perfect after being tempted by Satan to undo Adams sin. The whole thing is a joke!!!
i raised an issue with a co once about an elders qualifications, he visited my house and in no uncertain terms said don't touch ark of covenant ( referring to elder as ark ) , i was gob smacked then he said to wife and i that if we pursued such an avenue we could be grieving gods holy spirit.
so ther you go elder are on par with god ..
Just on a side note but from my research the so called ark of the covenant is a copy of the Egyptian Bark. This item was very much similar to the ark that's in the Bible. There's carvings of these on some of the temple walls and they found one in king tuts tomb. Again just another thing the Bible writers stole from Egypt.

Not necessarily, I wasn't very zealous but I few years ago decided to become more spiritual and doing more studying which led to me waking up. If it weren't for my family still being in I would be very zealous apostate. I think it all depends how much someone hates being lied to!

I'm with scratchme, you need to look at the company that's offering it. Some company's it maybe a better option to be on salary others they'll work you to death and when you add up all the hours you work you'll find your making way less per hour then the lowest paid hourly person working at the company.
I remember back after the 08 crash, companies were laying off people and making the ones they kept work salary. Then the worker would have to work the jobs of three people. Long hours weekends etc.

i find it hard to believe that the flamboyant grooming, earrings and heels would grant him positive status in the congregation.

I believe science has discovered that 70% of the reason why someone is gay is do to DNA and in uterus environment. So with this being the case we have as much right to kill or shun or ostracize a gay person as we do to someone born with a birth defect or just abit different that what's considered normal.

since leaving the jws i have looked into many beliefs and have come to this conclusion.. paganism has a high regard for women, as they worship goddesses and respect the female for the ability to give birth to new life.
christianity puts females in second place to males and blames women for male temptations which goes back to eve eating the fruit and tempting adam with it.
they also created a devil with the appearance of the pagan god pan and built churches on pagan worship sites so that people would still go there to worship, but within a christian building.. i have come to the conclusion that paganism versus christianity is about a battle of the sexes.. the fear of demonic forces is taught by religions to deter you from straying.
Woman back in the day were highly regarded and so were the female gods. It would be great if a person could go back to doing the pagan right and rituals of ancient Egypt. I think the whole process was about the sanctity of life, death and re-birth in to one children. It was also about the bond of nature and how it's seasonal process was appreciated .
