i was reading again the parapble jesus spoke to his disciples about the sheep and goats.
when i read it, it was plain and simple in my eyes.. 34 then the king will say to those on his right, come, you who have been blessed by my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world.
35 for i became hungry and you gave me something to eat; i got thirsty and you gave me something to drink.
It's called the laity class and virtually all Christian religions have them and this is where they the leaders all claim their power in one way or another. It's always been about power.
Look at some of the Bible writings the Jewish priests wanted people to have to come to the temple at Jerusalem so they the priests could benefit from the people's giving of food and money that the priests could take.
so jesus prayed:"father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing" (luke 23:34).. how must god forgive those who put jesus to death when god required jesus' death as the only mechanism by which he would or could forgive individual humans for their sins and grant them salvation?.
1 john 1:6-8 (nkjv):"but if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of jesus christ his son cleanses us from all sin.".
romans 4:24-25 (niv):"for us who believe in him who raised jesus our lord from the dead.
The whole thing is stupid, it's just a passion play. I'm mean really god allows the murder of his first creation and a slow painful death at that all because a man several thousand years earlier chooses to eat a piece of fruit with his wife. This is the best God can do is kill his own son when he already passed three temptations by Satan, why not just die in his sleep? Anyway the Bible said Job was perfect so that kills the whole thing also Jesus said he didn't come for the righteous ones just sinners, so there were already righteous ones? The whole thing is a mess.

There a scripture in john I believe where it's mentioned that the word Nails is used when describing Jesus hands being nails to a tree or stake or cross. One could easily argue that this plural use of the word means that Jesus hands were nails separately.
I also believe that it's been proven that if ones hands are placed above the head and then nailed to a stake the body would fall off. Not sure if this is true but it seams to make sense.
ok...so i'm a 19 year old fifth generation jw.
mentality, i've been out of the "truth" since i was 16(woke up after i was baptized ironically), but on the outside i'm a model jw.
my parents are really devoted, my grandparents are super devoted, and so are my ants and uncles.
I think if I was awake at 19 with so many family in I would play both sides. I would have the life I wanted never believing any of it and just do as little as possible to keep the family happy. One can fake their hours and once your busy with your career etc you could just be to busy for any advancement. If a family memeber ever asks why your not advancing you could make up a number of comments.
i decided to spend my sunday morning creating a youtube video highlighting 7 things most jw's dont know they're supposed to believe.
most of these i learned only after my exit of the cult.

You should of put in there that all jws must kill them selves by not taking a blood transfusion but if they want they can have cows blood. Most jws don't known this either .
for years theologians and historians have researched who the historical person known as jesus was and how much of the biblical account could be verified.
countless books have been written going into great detail.
this has been a controversial subject with some even claiming that jesus never existed.
I like the quotes they used from old writers like Josephus. His quote they mentioned is a known forgery , and then he goes and called Vespasian the messiah. The other quotes could of easily been refuring to any number of gods called christs, like Serapis or Helios. But hey the jws won't do any research anyway.
i just wanted to share a perspective related to my experience with leaving the jw.
at this point, i have been df'd since i was 18. i'm 25, happily married with 2 fantastic children.
after being miserably at odds with my parents and extended family, i've come to some realizations as follows.. i struggled with the conditional nature of my parent's love- talking to me until it bothered their conscience, then cutting me off.
That's nice and welcome, unfortunately the cult has stolen the minds and love of so many. They being members of the cult have lost all rational thought and being told thier in gods only true religion has made them arrogant in thier attitude. A person can show a JW the obvious problem with saying god wants us to kill our selves by not taking blood but cows blood is ok and they'll still not get it.
So despite your love your parents probably never get a clue or wake up, so don't risk your kids!!

the subject was the relocation and dissolution of some congregations; it seems that this is the result of some project that has been going on for some time and is going to be implemented right now.. please let me know if this is happening all over the country?.
It's there last and only way to make it look like thier growing is to make the halls full of people. This will probably help to keep less ones from leaving because there's influence in numbers.
i discovered your website this morning as i was trying to find some information about 'marking'.
you see a very close friend of mine was 'marked' earlier this week and as i know the ins and outs of the situation (as we are close friends) i disregarded the talk immediately as i know my friend is obviously having issues but is no way a 'danger' to anybody else's spiritual health.
basically they are dating a non-believer- hence the talk.
Everyone it seems looks at the subjects in a one dimensional way. Very little empathy at all. It's this very short sited view that keeps so many trapped. Hand in there and remember that Jesus is your master and just because most including the governing body don't follow the teachings of Christ you can rise above it all.
apparently the spanish forum, extj.com, is being shut down coming december.it's pretty sad.
there is still so much work to do to help people in latin america and spain come out of this cult!.
What happened to the effort to make jwfacts.com in to Spanish? Someone needs to step and get after it in this language!
