  Is there Some YouTube shenanigans going on?

  i won't name the youtube channels yet but i noticed something while listening to them.

  both channels were christian in there title both had a married couple that had both woke up and left.

  both first started waking by up when the man out in service came a cross a wonderful christian family and they explained their lives followers of christ and doing missionary work etc.. both couples wanted to pray for or with the jws at their door but it didn't happen.

Both couples wanted to pray for or with the JWs at their door but it didn't happen.

  Both brothers then went and mentioned to their wives and then proceeded to wake further. Both bothers had doubts and went on apostate sites but were fearful of doing so. Both eventually found fed Franz book crisis of a conscience but did want to read it. Both men instead read just the reviews and saw how nice the reviews were so they the decided to read the book.

  In the end both were able to wake up their wives and they all found Christ and became true Christians.

  I don't know but it seemed as though these were staged testimonials, even some of the wording they used seemed suspect. Do you think Christians are doing this or have you seen similar ?

  looks like he joined the jw and about 16-17 and then went in to work at bethel.

  does anyone know what level of education he had?

  did he even finish high school?

  Looks like he joined the JW and about 16-17 and then went in to work at Bethel. Does anyone know what level of education he had? Did he even finish high school? This is the man that's teaching have killed thousands of JW with their no blood doctrine.

  “Tree of good and bad” means what?

  if “tree of good and bad” were literal, it would mean adam and eve would know what is “good and bad” only after eating of that tree.

  however, even before eating of it, they would think “it is good for us to eat of this tree” which means they are already endowed knowledge of “good and bad.” that means “tree of good and bad” is symbolic of something.. since religious organizations interpret this differently, each reader has to adopt his own conclusion.

  for me it looks like this: one thinks of good and bad in relation to himself—if something is beneficial for him he would say it is good for him, and bad for him if it is not beneficial.

  WMSCOG - Another cult à la Watchtower

  was reading up on the world mission society church of god, or wmscog for short, a south korean church founded in the early 60s by ahn sahn-hong.

  the church has a million+ members in over 100 countries.

  they believe in god the father (jehovah) and a god the mother, whom they claim to be a living south korean woman named jan gil-ja.

  so their the very essence of love so we are taught so then why at luke 14:26 jesus says in order to be his follower you must hate your mother, father, wife, brothers and sisters.

  then you must renounce everything you have.

  My New Fascination - Evolution!

  since leaving watchtower i kind of hit the "reset" button in my mind and reevaluated what i thought i knew, what i believe and i require proof for every idea put before me before i commit to it.

  lately i've been fascinated with evolution.

  as a jw i never even looked at the subject, dismissing it as "just a theory".

  i was reading in jude last night in the esv bible.. i came across this little gem as i was falling asleep and woke right up.. jude 1:5.

  5 now i want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that jesus, who saved a people out of the land of egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

  Romans chapter 10:13 is another good one. You have to call on the name of Jehovah to be saved yet that's not what the scriptures really say. Jesus name is the highest above all as found in Acts and phalipians. Nice find NikL!

  Chemo and radiation only have a 22% remission right up to five years after the patient is considered cured or not counted at all. This means after 5 years if the cancer comes back and kills the person it's not counted against their 22%. I know plenty of people that have had success not going the standard American medical way of doing things.

  so i thought my purpose was to serve jehovah and get baptised.

  where do i go now to get baptised?

  is baptism even a requirement for serving god or was that just for the disciples and people of that time.

  The the time to study ancient religions religions and ancient history. Holy Spirit and baptism were Egyptian inventions. Read the book of the dead and you'll see all sorts of similarities. Take your time and digest things one at a time. Study science and archaeology you'll find most of what you have been told is not true. Most importantly go live life and embrace it!!
