So my PIMO Younger Brother Tried To Kill Himself Today
by pale.emperor inwe all know that this cult will drive those trying to leave to desperate measures, and today by brother was very nearly one of those statistics.
he slashed his thigh with a kitchen knife and was bleeding out until he called the police.. i got a call on my way home from work from a police officer, coincidentally it was one of my old friends from school who's now a cop.
he told me my brother is in hospital after an attempted suicide and has lost some blood but will be ok. but i should get to the hospital as he's asking for me.

I also suggest you stop asking your mother or any JW about your brothers condition. Call the hospital where he’s at or go by and visit as much as possible, show him your there for him, even if you can’t say much just hold his hand and be there. He will see your love while he sees your mother’s insanity.

Sounds to me like you didn’t do your brother any favors by informing your family he was in the hospital. In hindsight if you had gone to your brothers side with out them knowing you could of had a conversation with him and found out what he’s really thinking and could maybe been of some real help. I hope you can come up with a strategy to help your brother through all this bull shit!

by poopie inif god crowns all men and women with glory and splendor how do they explained shunning someone made in god's image?

There’s plenty of scriptures where it says it’s ok to shun someone if they don’t go along with your ideas. Just found another one in the book of Titus. As long as people take the Bible seriously theres going to be people shunning , yelling , fighting and killing one another!

Every time I see a video on YouTube of someone inside a hall it’s more than half empty , even the Spanish Halls . It doesn’t seam to matter where the video was taken the US , Canada, UK or Europe it’s always more then half empty. I can imagine the problem is only going to get worse and that’s why their combining .
Jws need to look around , their little cult is getting to where no one even knows who they are anymore.

the author was very familiar with each of the churches.. · those christians were experiencing intense persecution.. · the letter was designed to encourage these first-century christians to “overcome”.
it told them that the end was imminent (“soon”) and they had to remain faithful, to the point of being prepared to losing their lives.. · john had gone to patmos in order to compose (“receive”) the message.

The writtings of jesus indicated the end would come during their generation. He died about 33 less then 40 years later Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 and just a couple three years later the last of the rebels were pushed up Mt meggedo ( Armageddo) . There they all died. Maybe the writtings of Revelations were in part to prepare the Jewish rebels out side of Jerusalem for their attack's, persecution and salvation as martyrs?
This was all written after the fact and makes for a great saga.

a 26 year male suspect has been arrested.. in the apartment where the two where found dead, the words "death to witnesses" (“muerte a los testigos”) had been scrawled onto one of the walls.. he killed them because they expelled him from the jehovah's witnesses - canal de noticia, nov 28, 2017. .

Are Beards becoming more acceptable due to decline in membership?
by UnshackleTheChains ini noticed a young brother with a beard being given more privelages within our hall.
when he first grew his beard, he lost his privelages.
but more and more recently he has been helping out a lot more.. the cobe is old school and a stickler for rules, but with the hall becoming more empty these days, and the need for young brothers, he seems to have relaxed on this particular watchtower/man made rule.

The beard thing was just a distraction, just like government getting all up into gay rights etc so people start fighting over it and talking about it not realizing what’s really going on. Beards were a distraction to get people from talking about all the other meaningful stuff the cult is doing and teaching.

by venus inmany people point to the irrationality in the depiction of god by the religions and their scriptures, hence jump into the bottomless pit of atheism.
in either camp, god is not a factor because religion is only a means that misrepresents god, hence religionists themselves are atheists (literally, those who live without god).
it is like saying there exists no earth because you found out your friend who taught earth is flat is wrong; or it is like saying mathematics itself is wrong because you found out your mathematics teacher made a mistake.

Faith in god is a practice of belief devoid of facts , logic, reason and common sense. If a person wants to believe in a deity but that deity does absolutely nothing for a person in his or her life then what’s the point?!
