  Do they still teach that the 144,000 started to go to heaven in 1918? If so thats not biblical since in Thessalonians its written they all go together. Also it was mentioned in an earlier post but nowhere does it say they 144,000 are the actual ones that become Kings and Priests it says the ones that were killed as martyrs will be raised and made into Judges.

  Hello and my exit story from WTS

  i thought it was fitting for me to share my freedom from the witnesses story on independence day weekend.. i dont have any secret info, just experiences that happened to me and started to open my eyes.. i was a third generation, raised in the truth kid who was never supposed to be born, and then never supposed to graduate high school.

  ive now been out of high school longer than i was in school.. the beginning of the end started a little less than a decade ago.

  i was late 20s at the time.

  i was unable to insert the pic from the april 15,2013 pg 29 but leaving jesus christ out of the illustration on page 29 is no problem for the governing body as they have now substituted themselves for christ.

  the following quotations substantiate this:-.

  drunkards often scape-goat responsibility onto their drinking--as though it were morally defensible to cause accidents or death!.

  serial drinking and driving is a plague on highways across the world.

  Can't get any bibles?

  so according to people in every congregation i've mentionned it to, the slave isn't producing any more bibles.

  at first i thought that they were going to release an updated translation, like the updated brochures that were given at the latest convention, but that didn't happen, and everyone from the branch claims that there is "a reason for it", yet they're being extremely secretive.. .

  can anyone who's got ties to bethel help me out here?

  Don't worry that Jah is not going to except any more people near the end, out of the great tribulation there is a great crowd. The tribulation hasn't started yet and out of it comes a great multitude so they idea that people will be cut off from God's grace at the end is stupid and just more mind control by the ORG.

Thus one aspect of the way we gain a blessing is by giving our loyal support to God’s anointed ones.

     So the last quotation negates John 14:26, James 1:5 and 1John 2:27

  Isnt this a big deal the smoking gun showing that this ORG cares only for itself and its power over people? I would think this picture should be the catalyst to open up they eyes to the believers. The Ammo for all us faders that may be attacked by family and friends that are accusing us of apostasy. Throw this pic in their faces along with these quotes and then ask whos the apostates now?!!!

  Yeah i was just thinking about the generations subject yesterday and their poor excuse for understanding. My Grandmother is 95 and my youngest child is 2. So if my Grandmother dies next year since my son was alive when she died thats one generation, really. What does the bible say in the first part of Mathew and what happened in the desert during Moses time concerning that generation? I knew back in 1995 this excuse of a reason was total crap, but didn't really stop and think about it or care too much because i had just gotten married. Should've left the ORG back then.

  Yet another Septuagint manuscript using the divine name found

  larry hurtado mentioned on his blog that yet another early manuscript of the septuagint has been found that uses the divine name instead of lord (kurios), this time representing the divine name with ancient hebrew letters (yhwh) in what is the earliest extant copy of the psalms in greek.

  hurtado argues that the use of the definite article before the divine name indicates that the manuscript relies on earlier copies that used lord (kurios), but the fact remains that all the earliest copies of the septuagint that have survived use some form of the divine name and none use lord (kurios) as a substitute.

  The New Testaments says that Jesus name would be exalted above all others why? maybe Jah.,Yah, El, knew that his name had been corrupted and banned etc. so why not just forget about it and Exalt the name of the one you sent in your stead. 'This is the one I approve, listen to him'
