I often think that I should have never left , faked it and worked on getting my family to think for themselves and be better people then the cult would make them. Teach them better values from the bible and real love. Also the real history of the religion planting seeds all the time. You have to way your options and see what will work best for you. This is a long war were battling and thinking about and planning the long strategy is what it's all about .

The cult wins when we're emotional, react quickly, etc. play the long game and chances are better on our side. If one is dfd or dAs then your cut off so your influence is minimal for the ones still in. You'll be able to maybe Influence your kids and maybe a mate but unless a JW is willing to talk your not going to help anyone else in the cult, that's the reality.

by dorian hargrove, june 24, 2016. a san diego superior court judge has ordered the church of jehovah's witnesses, also known as the watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, to pay $4000 a day for every day that it fails to produce documents requested in a civil lawsuit brought by former parishioner, osbaldo padron, who claims a church elder sexually abused him when he was seven years old.. in a june 23 ruling, expected to be made final today, judge richard strauss admonished the church for willfully ignoring a court order to produce all documents associated with a 1997 body of elders letter that church leaders sent to parishes around the world in a quest to learn about sexual abuse of children by church leaders.. over the course of the past year, the watchtower society and its lawyers have fought hard to keep the letter confidential, claiming that turning over the documents would infringe on the privacy of those mentioned in the letter that were not associated with the case.. in march 2015, the church turned over a heavily redacted version of the letter.

i posted a month or two ago about my recently disfellowshipped sister who was feeling massive amounts of shame and doubt.

i moved out of my home state 5 years ago so she has come to visit me twice since she has been df'd and she loves it here.

i am a recovered alcoholic (5 years clean and sober) and spend my days with the most amazing non judgmental people i've ever met.

Start pointing out to your sister all the problems with the bible, prophecies that didn't come true , contradictions etc. show here the scripture about the city of Tyre and the ones about Damascus. I think it's easier for people to blow up the bible and get people to agree then trying to blow up thier cult.

There is a female ape that has been taught sign language and can hold a coversation with humans and there is also a bonobo ape male that has also shown abilities similar and one of these two (can't remember which) is teaching other apes.

I would love to get pictures of all the places and cities that were around before the flood. Pictures of the pyramids, temples, zigarits, cities etc and then show the same places after the flood. And of course nothing would be different in the pictures.

it might just be me imagining things.. i hear things from my jw spies.. from all that's being said, it seems to me that the rank and file(tm), are either waking up to the scam and fading/leaving.

they are going full on 'cult mode' and acting like 'spiritual police'.. is it just me and my imagination?

have others noticed this?.

I think all the evidence is that people are leaving and the cult is trying to figure out ways of keeping them in but are unable to really be effective do to the fact that thier a freaking cult!

i'm not trying to argue semantics here but it seems like a case of avoiding an uncomfortable subject.

I totally understand all your points but the fact that humans can't create life does leave us to the possibility that life was created by a higher intelligence .

I think the original poster has a point . Humans can't create life can't even create a red blood cell so there merit in the argument that life in its basic for must have been created. But maybe life got here from another planet or by some being like the movie Prometheus . But in all this the bigger picture to me is , if there is a creator does he care about us or the life on this planet? The evidence says no he does not.

I too have not been contacted or dfd. Not sure about the rumors I did find out they were warning elders in a hall of someone I worked with. My wife has been spreading the most rumors around her hall but no action from my elders. I think one they don't have enough proof just my wife's mouth and two they are cowards in away. They want to live in thier pretty little delusion and having to go and talk with people like us they'll end up having to fight thier brains and it hurts.
