Ok first off the bible is contradictory when it comes to the sabbath. 2 Jesus said nothing about eating blood especially killing yourself by not taking in blood. Math 12 Jesus says we desire mercy not sacrifice and in math 15 nothing eaten can defile a man. Also science shows us that in every drop of human breast milk there is roughly 1 million white blood cells .
As far as them being right about holidays not, read Romans chapter 14 and Colossians . Hell fire is talked about in the New Testament and Jesus did go to the underworld.
Trinity was not a concern be early Christians because they were worshipping Jesus and the new promoted God. The church only made the trinity a deal when others were saying that Jesus was an invented God as well as some other issues so they made Jesus a trinity with his father.
Keep up your research and maybe since the sabbath is a big deal to you, you should look into the 7 th day Adventists ...oh and one other thing 800,000 years of ice core samples drilled out of the South Pole show no world wide flood event. The Grand Canyon again second deepest canyon in the world and millions of years old and it shows no sediment layer of a flood. Again check out the ice cores

I believe these were attached to the library at Alexandria. I have read these were schools that taught the art of healing. I believe they worshipped Serapis and have read these schools were spread all over the levant and as far north as Britain. Some say these schools were the beginnings of Christianity.

general legal advice and direction.
hi wifi.. i don't believe these have been seen before.. one is a general guideline given to elders who report a child safety issue in the congregation, and the second is the form they have to return to the legal department.. they are both recent forms.. the questionnaire has an interesting question at a.6 stating if the legal dept has advised to contact the authorities yes or no.

How does these forms compare with the new letter sent to the USA elders?

Ok let me be a little more clear. Evidence seems to indicate some of the Pauline letters were written before the gospels and don't mention Jesus just the word Christ. The gospels came later in the 2nd century according to most experts. Some people think Jesus was modeled after Apollonius of tyanna and that even Paul was modeled after him. Other think Jesus was modeled after Simon Madgus. Most of the Christian teaching were copies of older Egyptian religious teachings and Jesus as the God seemed to be an algamation of several older Gods like Dionysus and Osiris. Marcion who later was taken down as a heretic wrote that Jesus was the son of another God not the Old Testament God . In Alexandria where it is believed some of the biblical writing came from, Serapis Christ was the primary God being worshipped and pushed. There are also many thoughts written in the New Testament that show Gnosticism made in to the bible. So with this all going on why again did they pick a Jewish guy to be the messiah and elevate the Torah?

Gnostics teachings , belief in all sorts of different gods from Egypt to Greece . The practice of emperor worship etc. when Christianity took off it was a melding of a lot of these different beliefs , but I'm curious as to why they choose the Jews Torah and its writings as seemingly the foundation of thier beliefs. I mean when you think about it the Jews were a nothing group so again why the Torah? Ideas ?

Interesting find in the bible last night
by Crazyguy inso i was reading genesis chapter 10 and 11 to see how it explains the man who supposedly is the offspring of noah and he and his offspring become the nation known as egypt.
in some bibles they actually call him egypt.
well as i was reading chapter 10 i noticed something.

So I was reading Genesis chapter 10 and 11 to see how it explains the man who supposedly is the offspring of Noah and he and his offspring become the nation known as Egypt. In some bibles they actually call him Egypt. Well as I was reading chapter 10 I noticed something. In the chapter it's describing the break down of how each child of Noah's boys become nations or people's and each group was also known by its language or tongue . Then in chapter 11 verse 1 it says there was only one language in the world and goes on about the story of the Tower of Babel . So chapter 10 totally contradicts chapter 11.
Back to the offspring of Ham which in some bibles he is called Egypt. The crazy thing is this is the man the patriarch of the nation of Egypt yet the flood happened at about 2350 BCE . Egypt was already established before the flood, cities had been built and several of the pyramids had already been built too. Wow it's just too crazy that we took this book seriously and sad too.

Reinstated and then fade
by Zeds Dead ini'm a man - d'fd for 2.5 years now and divorced.
find it hard to date girls out here only due to always having this secret i carry with me that i was once a jw and the thought of telling a girl one day why my family don't acknowledge me as even alive.. recently been thinking of trying to get reinstated and then do a quick fade as i cant go back to the whole jw stuff.. easier said than done and was turned down twice by elders after an immediate attempt 2 years ago.. my motivation for trying would be 1.
) to see if family make contact and 2) play the last hand in their game and give the middle finger.. interested in viewpoints?.

Get reinstated if that's what you need to do , then fade. No need to loose family over this cult.
