Jehovah’s Witness dating rules

i’m sorry that i talk about dating a lot, i know it is probably very annoying, but you don’t have to read it.

but did anyone else have the most difficult time dating as a young jw?

me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year in half, we are in our early 20’s, and we are still not allowed to hold hands, cuddle or kiss.

I remember way back when I got married we eloped because her parents were states away and could afford to travel and mine were disinterested and we were poor so it made sense. Got back home and a few meetings later and an elder pulls my wife aside or into the back room and asks her if we were messing around since we eloped. Not only was this in very bad tasted since there was no proof or evidence of impropriety but be ask my wife not me. What a scum bag!

May advise to you is forget your boyfriend move away from your parents as soon as you can make a life for yourself and get the hell away from this cult!

They could easily change the date or get rid of it all together and most of the fucktards would be none the wiser or care. But some will leave some will notice . When the 1995 change in the generation teaching took place a lot of JWs did leave but times have changed most haven’t a clue of deeper doctrinal issued.

Its now mostly a feel better then everyone else because I’m in gods organization club. We’re better then you because we have the truth, gang.

Just talked to the head man for the SDA church in my country

i’ve just got off the phone with the head man from the sda church.

it’s really been bothering me this membership numbers.

so i went straight to the source.

I don’t believe 35 million but I must say the SDA churches are much nicer then the Kingdom Halls and some even have schools attached. Same goes for the Mormons agian it’s hard to tell their numbers but when you look at all three it seems to me the JWs have been lying about their numbers longer.

What thier saying is their god is less powerful than Satan because he can’t stop the attacks on the reputation of the organization. And he’s so weak that as the propaganda gets around the world the preaching work will be completely useless because of these lies. Poor weak and puny Jehovah.

What changes would stabilize JW membership?

i've seen many topics about how things are changing or might be changing in jw doctrine/culture.

some have extrapolated how those changes would result in declining jw membership.

i'm curious to know what changes others think would stabilize those numbers.

Start preaching the love ideas that are written about concerning jesus as thier main focus.

Make dfding only for gross offenses like pedophiles.

Make the blood doctrine a conscience matter.

Drop the titles and the ministry and time keeping stating that informal is the best method now.

Use the Bible to say that celebrating holidays is a conscience matter which it does anyway.

Focus on association more and maybe have only one meeting per week.

Actualy do some real charity work.

stop talking about end times and focus on being judged by good deeds and faith in Christ.

In general become more like a traditional Christian Church that’s more about fellowship then dogma.

In this way you’ll be able to hold on to the young and maybe even win back those on the edges as well as stop loosing so many.

But they won’t do this infact their doing the exact opposite becoming more and more culty and will loose more because of this and getting new ones is now almost impossible.

he told me the other day of how the watch tower has been in contact with his good friend and business associate.

evidently they are inquiring about putting cameras into every kh so that they can do 24 hour monitoring.

The real estate scam started in the Rutherford area and has been part of the JW program ever since. They have been scamming the JWs every possible way possibly excusing their actions by explaining to themselves that since they don’t tithe then what else can we do? The organization I don’t think is run by a group of men behind the scenes pulling the strings instead it’s an organization that has evolved over time run by narcissists and based on what’s has happen to them and the organization the cult is where it is today. Inept corupt and just plain crazy but they can’t see the trees for the Forrest.
