Marriage Ceremony Part 2

thanks again to everyone for their comments about what to expect at the wedding.

my nephew did go through with it (so did the bride) so i thought i would give some of the highlights.. the ceremony lasted about 45 minutes we were seated for the entire time.

the elder talked to the groom and bride about what was expected of them.

i used to post here as naeblis but left a while back to take a bit of a break.

i've been enamoured with the name frankiefourvests lately (my great uncle frank was famous for his multiple vests) so decided to make a new username.

simon you may disable my old account at your leisure (pronounced lessure out of respect for his english slurring of our language!

it seems there are so many new ones coming to this forum in the last few weeks, and i just wanted to say hi,,,,,,,,,, glad to have you .

if i havent said hi and welcome to the board when you first got here, i am sorry, didnt mean to be rude.

since chat is down, it is harder to get to know the new ones personally, and as soon as it is back up and running again, i hope to chat with you new ones.

i do not bullshit about stuff like this.. everybody knows i'm agnostic, and most of you know that i lump wicca right in there with all the other religious beliefs as being just one more crock of lies, and have pissed off sunchild and sirona and a few others with my observations about wicca.

well, as i continue on my path of mellowship, i've mellowed toward wicca as well.

I cried for the past

i cried for a long time today, very deeply, sobbing heavily for those i have lost in my life.

mostly due to watchtower rules.. i am developing a new set of bear friends and look forward to good times with them.. the suicidal thoughts have subsided.. i have never really tried to make a concrete set of friends here.

i think its time to do so.

Sure. I also believe in the Koran Code, THe Curious George goes to band camp code, and the Big BirdVisits Grandma Bird Code. Patterns can be discerned in anything.

For example, did you know that the book Moby Dick filtered through what I call the "Dick Code" predicted the results of every World Series between 1956 and 1988?? It's true. Look it up.

things i saw as a jw:.

* the "f" word spelled out on the information board in the back of the hall.

the person used the tacks used for posting letters and talks and spelled out the expletive.

When our Greek congregation was dissolved some time in the early 90's there was one elder that absolutely freaked out after the meeting it was announced. Started yelling and screaming at theP.O He wasn't an elder after that :D It was the greatest meeting I ever went to.
