  i just left my work desk to go to the rest room.

  this guy came out of the stall and clearly just finished his business and didn't wash his hands.

  i see this a lot.

  just a little breaking news:.

  after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.

  last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..

  never buy rca products if you know what is good for you.

  i had a dvd/vcr combo recorder that i bought brand new in april 2006. in november 2006 it died on me.

  All I know is I bought an RCA product that didn't hardly make it past 6 months. What a piece of JUNK! This family will NEVER AGAIN own an RCA product.

  Have you ever worked for a company that made a product? Sometimes this just happens.

  everything has been going well for me for awhile until tonight.

  mom calls and announces she can no longer talk with me.

  i'm sad because i don't get to see mom and dad or my little neice that's sierra's age.

  Terrible. Really, I'm sorry for you and your children. They are still trapped in the cult and aren't thinking straight, but that doesn't help you or your children.

  Learning Guitar - What is a good beginner guitar - (sell me yours?)

  i've been learning to play for the last 3 weeks and would like to buy myself an acoustical guitar.

  i've borrowed two, one is a wonderful yamaha and the other is a fender made in china, plywood and it sounds not so good.

  those of you who have gone through this - what would you recommend to me if i were your favorite poster?.

  Thanks everyone - I went to our two local shops last night.

  One had several Fenders at $200 and under. The one I own now is a Fender StarCaster that was a return at Sam's club. It came with a bag, tuner, stand, dvd blah blah for $89, but it's harder than hell to play. The strings are so far from the frets - if I can keep up playing this thing I will be able to play anything. My friend/teacher has a Yamaha which plays so nicely and sound better.

  So there was this $330 Seagull - drool drool. Solid cedar top.

  Also a $200 Yamaha solid spruce top

  Finally a $200 Fender that felt great, but didnt' sound as good as it felt.

  Online there are a myriad of the Jasmines on eBay for $129 with a bag, tuner etc. (The figgin kicker is that 10 years ago I bought a Jasmine but didn't stick with and a young brother in the cong borrowed it from me. A really great kid. He got quite good and when he graduated HS I gave thim the guitar as a gift. Now I wish I could give him freedom as a gift.)

  in recent months i've been trying to reverse that and meet more people.. so far the pattern is this:.

  meet someone.start chatting and talking.notice a distinct chemistry.attempt to move things to the next level.now this is where things get frustrating.

  Else - I don't have any good advice. I've seen your pix, you're a good looking guy and from your posts you seem very gentile, intelligent, and interesting. Maybe you are just hitting the wrong parties, but don't doubt yourself.
