  in this article gerrit talks about his father in the first and last paragraphs, what he says about him and his hope for him goes against all that witnesses have preached about the worldly for the last 100 years... as i recall aren't all the worldly supposed to be destroyed and never have a hope of everlasting life like jw's are, and isn't that the purpose of the preaching work to baptize and warn the worldly of this???

  if not why do jws even preach, or even become jws in the first place if all have a hope of everlasting life, jw and non-jw, are they releasing a little hint at new light to come???

  or am i just missing or over analyzing something?.

  okay, so its no secret that many of us are hoping to see the downfall of the wtbts (or at least a mass exodous of jws away from them anyway).

  i was wondering if you had any thoughts on what this might look like?.

  we all know that most every jw has their doubts, large and small, but is afraid to speak due to the illusion of unanimity and self censorship .

  I think the Watchtower will always have members-they just are too mentally controlled. Hopefully, many, many more will leave for one reason or another. That's why its up to us that are already here to keep up our good work in exposing the wts, exposing the bible, and actually for exposing the god they worship.

  i've applied to be reinstatement in a new city after attending meetings for a bit.

  i wrote my letter and they heard my case.

  they were very helpful.

  I feel like some of the others on this post, you're out now for Pete's sake, stay out! This is a mind-controlling cult. The Bible is not what it's been purported to be. Jehovah is not the creator of the earth and creation, nor you. He can't hear prayers because he's not the true god. As for true friends, they're not at the Kingdom Hall-heck, I'll bet none of them speak to you now, do they? Make some new one, some ones that stick by you thick or thin. And for gawds sake, don't put yourself through that mental stress.

  beijing (afp) china and russia will build one of the largest ports in northeast asia on russias sea of japan coast, reports said, in a further sign of the powerhouses growing alliance.. the seaport is expected to be able to handle some 60 million tonnes of cargo a year, chinas state-run peoples daily online reported late wednesday comparable to britains busiest port immingham or le havre in france, according to european commission statistics.. the new facility will be located in far eastern russia, just 18 kilometres (11 miles) away from the chinese border.

  the region is also close to north korea.. chinese and russian leaders inked a deal on the port at mays conference on interaction and confidence building measures in asia (cica) in shanghai, the report said.. the move represents the latest step by beijing and moscow to boost their energy and infrastructure ties.. resource-hungry china is seeking to diversify its sources of energy amid booming domestic consumption, while russia at odds with the west over its annexation of ukraines crimea peninsula is seeking to refocus its gas and oil exports towards asia.. the same report spoke of the commencement of construction of the gas pipeline from yakutsk to china.

  i'm curious, why and how did you choose your username?.

  does it hold any special significance for you, is there a share-able back story?.

  for me sparrowdown is a playful reference to matt 10:29 and the title of the movie black hawk down.. matt 10:29 was my go-to scrip to "prove" that god cares about us as individuals.
