  Update on my letter to the elders regarding my dad's suicide

  this past saturday (april 12) i got a phone call from someone i've known since 1973 and who now lives in mexico.

  he was visiting his daughter (who attended my dad's memorial service) and started the conversation by telling me how very sorry he was about my dad.

  he really sounded shook up about it, and he then proceeded to say that he had just finished reading my letter to the elders!

  Just to let you know that I have always enjoyed reading your posts and that of Big Tex's and more recently Jennie.

  You have really been put through some horrible stuff, but you sound as if you have a lovely husband and a great network of friends. You are being positive, and your family will also feed off this. Talking is the best therapy. Cuddles are the next best therapy!!

  As far as the 'elders' are concerned - so what - what can man do to you? - here one day gone the next. The only thing with this bunch is that the elders think your life is still entwined with the JWs. - hey wake up mr elder - we are not bothered anymore by your silly pettiness and whims which change with the weather.

  Oh I wish I could meet up with you and give you a BIG hug, but know that one comes over the web(((((((((())))))))))))).

  Keep going, and keep smiling and the world will smile with you, and cry with you, but know that we all care.

  hello friends,.

  since i'm not going to the memorial for the first time since i've became a witness, i wanted to post my "j dub" life story as a form of therapy.. i guess i'm posting this here, also, as sort of a refreshment for others who taken this road.

  after much study, i've finally disassociated myself - in my heart at least.

  Thanks for sharing with us your story...

  It will be strange for me also this year, as it is the first time in 42 years that I have missed the memorial, but Mr NW and I are taking time out because it is something that we feel very strongly about.

  As regards the rest of your story, may life continue to treat you well. I just feel that JW s are a jealous lot, and hate anyone having anything better than them. In other words not a thing.

  therfore is it true that because satan twisted gods words , in repeating gods conversation to adam & eve ,stating that surley you wont die if you eat from the tree of good and bad.. when did satan become apostate, or doesnot the bible or scriptures recognize that word (apostate) is this meaning recognized by jehovah god ?????

  or just recognized by inference soley by the j.w organization.. because satan was known as ?????
