  .....has been changed for the third (!!!!!

  ) time to friday 11th july.

  apparently, there were no elders available on the previous days so i just have to fit in.. wish me luck!.

  Just say at least as possible if you should decide to go, and put nothing in writing to them!

  Speaking here from experience.

  Remember - pyschological warfare is being used against you. Your husband, friend and the elders. The elders want you on a knife's edge so that you feel relieved, and express all your feelings to them in the JC. Therefore, our suggestion is that you go, but admit to nothing, and say nothing. All you need to ask is - Why do you wish to see me?

  have I done something wrong?

  whatever you are concocting - prove it!

  you are being blackmailed on an emotional level - you are being manipulated to confess to anything put before you by them.

  So be strong - and treat them with the contempt that is deserving to them - and remember, the elders are seeing you not as friends, but to destroy you.,

  the head of the simpsons clan has taken almost a fifth of the votes in an internet poll.. the 16th president of the us managed just over 16%.. the poll has been held to tie in with a bbc2 debate called what the world thinks of america to be screened on tuesday at 9pm.. civil rights leader martin luther king is in third position, ahead of former presidents such as george washington.. other quirky choices to have made the top ten include mr t, famed for his role in tv's the a team, and bob dylan.. the 90-minute debate will be presented by bbc political editor andrew marr and will look at opinions about the us's position in the world.. it will bring together national broadcasters from around the world in a live satellite link-up.

  What do you mean - my kids think I am Marge and Dad is Homer.

  People even think our son looks like Bart, and our daughter is Lisa - the brainy one.

  So of course he is real DOH.

  The only thing is our surname is different!!!!!!!!

  ps. I remember being told by JWs that the Simpsons should not be watched - now that is going back some 10 years. mmmmm Every story had a moral - some that JWs should maybe take on board......

  i was brought up from birth as a jehovahs witness.

  this has played a major part in my life and it has been a real struggle to get past.

  i think there are about 20 cong in each circuit (correct me if i'm wrong).

  i was in the sussex circuit, can't remember which number though.

  any of you remember which circuit you're cong was assigned to?.

  hi everyone, in the congregation i grew up in, it was very cold and unloving.

  circuit overseers would come and go, they would give counsel and nothing changed.

  at one time even the do came at the same time as the co and gave counsel to 'widen out'.

  We are in SE London, but went to Hayes Bridge.

  CO's Richard Cullen - cheap smarmy git..... (that's me being nice)

  Glen McFarlane - I remember him when he was Co up in the North East - not bad

  Jim Carter - He had a stroke, again up in the NE, and now I think off the circuit - he was ok

  Rember Dennis Dutton - I heard some years ago he had left the JWs' ? anyone enlighten me?

  Now I am trying to think... of some other names ---

  Crystal Palace has not been a venue for some years now - London Arena became the one to be seen at!

  I am so glad that I do not have the trudge of going to the Assemblies anymore - this will be the first district assembly that I have not been. ooohhhh the excitement of knowing that I do not have to go - wonderful - and the weather is going to be lovely this weekend - oh what a shame!

  Well now I know where my family will be this weekend - newcastle! and no doubt all ears will be listening for the news about apostates - more ammunition for them - not that it really matters, I have been 'shunned' for quite a while now.

  I remember Murrayfield, and walking down Princes Street, and taking the sly morning off to visit the Castle and do the Royal Mile.

  Oh what memories - well I enjoyed Edinburgh!

  Feeling Pretty Bad

  i hate mondays!.

  i also feel bad because i have been receiving subtle hints from my hubby that he may be leaving me.

  we have been married for 24 years, have 4 beautiful, intelligent children (one is no longer with us), we have been though troubles, worries, the death of our darling claire, money problems - you name it - we've been there.. now - because i have different religious views to him, he doesn't think he can associate himself with me any longer.
