  1) throughout the whole article jw's were being told not to believe or pass on everything they hear, but to examine the information to prove whether it was true or not.. 2) throughout the whole article jw's were being told not to listen to or look into any information or challenges which sounded negative about the org.. mind-numbed jw's will be leaving their kh's today wondering, "do i try and prove to myself and others that that what has been said is definitely a lie, (1 timothy 4:1; 1 peter 3:15;1 john 4:1) or do i totally ignore it and believe everything the org tells me is true?

  But even with all the propaganda from the Watchtower lesson and the many JW's commenting on it, there are still some who say who will want to look. Curiosity will be begging and begging.

  I bet people in Australia are getting wise to who JW's really are.

  aren't we so grateful to the f&ds who directly mediates our relationship with jesus christ and give us the food we need at the proper time?

  i dunno....maybe i have anger issues with the the wt?.

  jw borg keeps the witnesses up to date with accurate information? Like the accurate information about the worldwide news coverage of the Australian Royal Commission that covered Jehovah's Witnesses and their own governing body member Geoffery Jackson had to testify? You mean THAT accurate reporting?

  There has never been one word about it on jw org news, not one single mention.

  I've asked other witnesses, "Why wouldn't the slave tell us when a governing body member is their testifying on behalf of the brothers?" No one was able to give a reply.

  it was announced at our clam that there "was no shipment of the october study editions of the watchtower" and that they were asking if people could just use electronic or make their own copies.. is this just happening in ohio, or did you hear the same thing?.

  "in our meeting last night, the coordinator read a letter from the canadian branch about the reorganized territories.

  all the territories in the fraser valley from hope to vancouver, about a hundred miles in all, have been reorganized to create larger congregations and improve the use of kingdom halls.

  I have observed by reading several threads on this subject of dissolving congregations and selling of KH. This is definitely a trend all over.

  i have a document containing a list of all congregations in the uk.

  periodically i go through the links and check to see if they're still registered as charities and if the location of the congregation is the same.. instead of posting a large list of changes all at once, i will be adding each change that i find in a new reply to this thread.. please check back here periodically.. truthseeker.

  It's like if you put the name of every congregation that was dissolved because two cong merged into one, you could put the names of those one a bunch of dominos and then start them falling down.

  I think it's pretty awesome that court documents like what the elders and WT were sending back and forth are now up on display for the world to see. It just shows how cruel they really are.

  i was commenting on another thread about how local kh attendance is down.

  memorial attendance was also way down and the circuit assembly had hundreds less people than what is typical.

  my jw family has even mentioned it.

  In Ohio some congregations merged and some got dissolved recently. I was at a hall for years and saw the meeting attendance go from around 95 to 45 in the last 10 years. Now I'm at another hall and I heard an elder say, "we just had another congregation join with ours. We were busting at the seams for 3 weeks right after the merge. And now (a month after that) we are barley over what we used to have before the merge!" Seems the merging JW's came to get a quick look-see and went back to their fishing business.

  If you've read this thread through to this point, then you know it's painting a picture of reduced meeting attendance across the board.

  5. A victim - "An abuser doesn't take any responsibility for his poor choices. He is NEVER at fault." - sound familiar?

  6. Narcissistic - "The whole world must revolve around this [religion]"

  7. Inconsistent - doctrinal flip flops

  8. Critical - just like most elders

  9. Disconnected - "Isolation from family and friends is a key goal for the abuser because it forces the victim into total submission." Ever been shunned by your own blood (kin)?

  10. Hypersensitive ..."What sets the abuser apart is that he is intentionally manipulating a situation so that his actions don't

  have consequences." Exactly like the governing body.

Vicious and Cruel - See the December 2018 study edition WT p 14,par 17, 18 where it says that the husband "might be extremely physically abusive, even to the point that she feels that her health or life is in danger"... "other Christians have not; [separated] they have endured and tried to work at improving matters."

  "Many loyal Christians have remained with an unbelieving mate under very trying circumstances. They can testify that doing so was worthwhile..." - In other words, stay, even if your life is in danger, that's vicious and cruel.

  12. Insincerely repentant - this one actually doesn't apply to JW leadership because they have NEVER repented about anything!! At least an abuser will say they're sorry once in a while.
