Why I now believe Jehovah's witnesses are a cult!

i always tended to avoid using the word 'cult' to describe jehovah's witnesses.

instead, i preferred referring to them as a 'high control group'.

however, having watched the shocking and bizarre behaviour by so called jehovah's witness elders toward eric wilson (borean pickets), this now confirms beyond any doubt in my mind that the watchtower organisation is nothing more than a cult.. i would seriously encourage everyone to watch the video in it's entirety and see how truly cultlike they are.. my jaw still hitting the floor 😮.

If JW's were the true religion and you're trying to help a lost sheep, you would NOT invite him to come to church and then:

barricade the church parking lot
prevent him from taking in his bookbag
bar a harmless notepad & pen
tell him to start removing parts of his clothing
break church rules that come directly from the highest counsel, their governing body

The hall on Roe St is not for sale, no talk about it at all. I didn't know that there were other halls for sale in the Cincinnati area.

As far as the elders doing a witch hunt for me, it would be like dropping a quarter into the lake from your motor boat as your cruising across the water, then an hour later venturing back out and diving for it and finding it on your very first dive. I miss my boat. Had sell it when we moved into an efficiency apartment to pay the medical bills after my wife became diagnosed with MS.

I'm a ghost, and they are afraid of ghosts! Honestly, though, I've given so many details about who I am that the elders would know anyway, or would they? Does leveltheplayingfield really go to Oakley or somewhere else?

I think anyone who is reasonably intelligent, say, from the 5th grade on, would recognize that, just because you have decided to end any further discussions regarding your religion to a family member, would not mean that you have then judged them as "unworthy of gaining everlasting life"!

Good grief! Can we all just take a step back and give folks the benefit of the doubt? Damn!

Maybe the in-laws just don't want to hear it. That's all. Talk about the weather, or president Trump for crying out loud, but to say that your decision to cease discussion about religion means that you have judged them is revealing to what the GB thinks. That is, that they don't think. But when they do, they f&ck it up!
