  i was out with my 4 dogs last night around 10:30 under a bright moon.

  it was frosty (-4 c).

  i heard some noise in the field behind my house (my backyard is a national forest).

  Thanks wifibandit for opening my eyes even more because after I scanned thru this 32 page brochure it dawned on me... they labored on with this, yes labor on with 32 pages of information on how to give them money. But when it comes to how to help victims of child abuse, the elders get one, yes ONE paragraph in the Shepherding book on how to help them.

  So, thank you again wifibandit. This site has always helped me with TTATT. Always helped me to see that Jehovah's Witnesses do not have the true religion after all. Jesus said, the truth shall set you free. And free I am.

  Elder harassed my mom and asked for donation

  my mom had surgery last month and she developed complication and had to be on antibiotics to treat infection.

  so, she is recovering slowly, but things was tough on her and she was not attending kh or went to assembly two weeks ago.

  nonetheless, elder showed up at her place and instead providing her with comfort he started to harass her that her faith is weak, she does not put trust in jah, etc.

  OMG kaik, that is horrible. That elder is way out of line. I mean even by the WT standards he is out of line. I don't know what is up with him at all. All I can say is to try to comfort her the best that you can under the circumstances. Try to be the best person you can to her and aid her in anyway you can to try to reduce the stress in her life. That elder is a looser no doubt about that.

  this is a new video put out by the borg.

  i have nothing to say negative about it actually.

  it's only 2:34 minutes long and helps you learn the books of the bible and the basic contents of them and is done very well.

It's only 2:34 minutes long and helps you learn the books of the Bible and the basic contents of them and is done very well. It's great for kids especially. I know most of the time we tend to put down the borg and especially because we have a many good reason for doing so. But this video I would say is a step out of the norm. Take a look. I guess when you get all the way down to such a basic level as this, such as naming the books of the Bible, you can't go wrong, right?

  He's so nervous in that he wants to be a puppet in the WT that it's obvious to me. He just keeps repeating, "the Watchtower said, the Watchtower said". Is there an original thought here? No, there is not! Why is that? That is because you cannot have the freedom of expression of thought my friend. Sorry.

  A FORMER Jehovah's Witness elder has been jailed after he indecently assaulted a schoolgirl on three occasions nearly 40 years ago.
  

  Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard how John Winkle performed an indecent act on the child and kissed her.

  The victim reported the assaults in 2013 and the defendant went on to admit two charges of indecent assault.

  The 58-year-old denied a third allegation of indecent assault, but was convicted after a trial last month.

  Now Winkle has been jailed for four years at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.

  Peter McCartney, representing Winkle, said he has carried a 'burden of guilt' since committing the offences when aged between 19 and 21.

  Mr McCartney said: "He recognised what he did to the victim was wrong and he has carried it with him for all these decades.

  "He is of previous good character and has been happily married for 30 years."

  Mr McCartney added that Winkle has now been 'disfellowshipped', which means he is no longer considered to be part of the Jehovah's Witness congregation.

  He said: "His admission of the counts he did admit has caused him to be extremely isolated.

  "The religion he has followed for all these decades has cast him out. He must arrive after it starts and leave before it finishes and he is not allowed to speak to any of those that are there."

  Winkle, of Birkholme Drive, Meir Heath, has been placed on the sex offenders' register indefinitely and barred from a range of activities involving children and vulnerable adults. He was also made the subject of a restraining order, preventing him having any contact with his victim for five years.

  Judge Paul Glenn said: "The issue at trial was whether you had performed oral sex on that child and the jury were sure that you had on a single occasion.

  "She was a child when you did that. You were an adult. She described feeling confused and scared."

  The judge described a second indecent assault in which Winkle touched the girl's private parts as 'outrageous conduct'.

  He added: "Your actions have had a significant effect on her life. She suffered from depression and has undergone counselling. She speaks of flashbacks, the effect on her relationship with other people and her life having been scarred.

  "This was about sexual gratification and you are a hypocrite because you became an elder and you investigated a sexual matter even with this in your sexual background."

  Dont Give Them More Power Than They Deserve

  a new montra that was recently adopted by the wife and i is this:.

  dont give them more power than they deserve.. here's why i say that, and i point this to those of you still in the congregation, still trying to decide what you want to do.. recently, our family had a little family reunion gathering of sorts, and we were in the company of some extended family that were either df or da, to varying degrees.

  we made it very clear, to any and all in attendance, that we wanted to be respectful and kind, despite any previous perceptions about our "status".... and that our feelings on a lot of things had "softened", and "changed" over the last 2 years.. i am being purposefully slightly vague, but i think you get the point.

  this of course was the sister/sister talk at the table.

  So my question is, what happened after the meeting? Did the other elders get together with you and discuss what to do with her? Was there a meeting of that type and what happened with the whole thing?

  heart troubles

  dear all,.

  my health took a beating over the years with stress from various sources, not a little from the wt; and dangerous areas of work involving fumes and so on.

  the arc also took its toll and i have had recently a heart attack.
