But seriously, as I watched the video, as I have seen such the likes a few times before on their broadcasts and all, for the first time something hit me. It hit me that these people, the GB that is and I think the rest of the rank and file really believe all this, that is to say that they have Jehovah's blessing on their religion and all. Wait, that didn't come out right... They really think that they are the only ones doing God's will. The GB especially think that people should be living a simple life, even selling their house and living in an apartment and make a meager living to make God happy. Here's the kicker, even if that means making less donations possible I would assume. It must be right? Less donations I mean. Because they keep stressing this living so simple over and over again. That simply translates into having less to donate, simply and plain. But the GB actually believe that God will somehow carry them through all of that! They are really deluded aren't they?

New Spiritually Weak Label: Not Using Tablet/iPhone
by Doubtfully Yours inwith last night's meeting it became official: here in the states is a must to keep up with 'jehovah's org' that one fully jumps on board with this tablet/iphone crap.. so, now, all of us that up to this point have refused to follow the wtbts in their electronic/wireless revolution will deal with the browbeating from the 'spiritual' ones.. already receiving lots of grief from hubby and rest of the family/close friends when seen at the meetings with paper publications.

Where does WT get their money?

there may also be some income from invested assets.
i guess they get a lot of money from old jws who die childless or with only df'd kids.geographically i assume they get it mostly from a few countries that have many publishers and strong economies.

I like your post. Nice thoughts and I agree with the U.S being the cash cow for the org. And I think there are a lot of people who are no longer donating in the U.S. anymore either. That's why there well is drying up.
