  i'm just wondering... how many people in the hall hearing this watchtower today would be having sexual fantasies?

  I have not read the article but I am sure of one thing. They miss the christian point. If you check out how the experience of being transformed at new birth (John 3) changes you profoundly, you will see that their way of christianity is like having a corpse inflated with air and immitating movements and making it speak with some tech-trick. True christian life comes through the adoption as a child of God. I tryed the JW-way for over 2 decades, what a waste of time and what a mountain of frustration. The other way around made me live through intense and profound changes and it happened in a blink of an eye at a moment in my life where I was weak.

  how come animals teeth are designed to chew meat?

  sharks for instance have razor sharp pointy teeth these are not to eat vegetation .

  It's simple to me. If God created an all-veggie planet, soon those would have eaten all the green stuff and have overpopulated and destroyed the base of living on the planet. MAD-scenario- unworkable CO2-bomb. God bless.

  Any thoughts on the real reasons for droppng the 'school"

  my thoughts are.

  1. they want to avoid being made to comply with any laws that come with anything classed as a "school" especially a school with children enrolled.. 2. the mid-week meeting has been dying in the ass for years and needs a revival.

  i predict happy -clappy-sing-a-longs to be included in the program.. anyone else have any thoughts ??

  School is direction from the GB. Responsibility is assigned to the one who is teaching. Once the school is gone they might get away with the idea that there is no central control agent who is responsible. They again want to get their ass off the hot seat.

  Have those printed in China by a commercial printing business, it would certainly cost 10cts or less if the volume would be high enough. Transport would be the highest cost factor.

  i remember a thread here somewhere where a letter to the body of elders was posted and elders were to read part of the letter asking who might have experience or training in video media, graphic design, etc.

  then on a separate page not to be read to the congregation was for elders to make discreet inquiries as to any who might have legal knowledge, experience or expertise.. well, in view of all this new kafluffle about branch closures, building work suspended, bethel layoffs, etc., it really makes me wonder now just what the heck is going on.

  has the gb been shafted by their own legal counsel or financial advisors?

  A capital misalocation /bad investment would be a big bang and Dubs would leave in droves. It looks like a charade to prepare for the GA-theater piece coming up. More bagging for money for certain. It would be too early to have them mandated to create a compensation fund for their abuse victims.... tbc

  okay, i don't even know where to start.

  i'm 16, i live in a strict jw household and i know if i am pregnant (which is a big possibility) ..i know i'm doomed to a life of misery.

  not because of my baby but because of my family and the isolation and judgement from the congregation.

  Hi there

  First let me assure you that many here have compassion for your situation. Is there no compassion from your parents even in such a messy situation? Please check on the internet where you might get counsel and help. There are lots of professionals in your community (social services...) that are real nice and good people, ready to help. There is hope! Although your "normal" life is shaken up, there is always a way to get things right. Be strong and make slow, well thought and resolute moves. God bless you dear.

  On the Relevancy of The Institutionalization of Sin

  child murder, sodomy & corrupting the human genome are not new sins, they are old ones.

  what is new is their institutionalization.

  Each time someone supports the biblical take on sexual relations, there is strong polarization, even hatred. This intolerance is generating so much intolerance, funny no.

  The concept of sin is more and more rejected by most, to the point of criminalizing those who dare to say that same-sex relations are wrong in the eyes of the God of the Bible.

  If there is no God why should you worry, or if your conviciton is that we are free to do whatever crosses our heart why feeling attacked?

  I want to point to a more grave problem related to sexuality. Worldwide some 40 000 000 humans are killed by abortion each year. This is very immoral in my eyes and unmatched in history. There is much blood being shed in the name of liberty and freedom. If people would respect the law of the Bible this misery would be prevented to a high degree.

  What humanity does not grasp, is that it is beneficial to us to respect the divine given precepts. Peace to you all
