  first let me tell you about george (his real name) the special pioneer.

  not that good looking...a bit goofy, he had spiritual sisters literally ask him to date and flutter eyelids because of his positon.

  he always made excuses about why sisters were "not his type"...had a bedroom full of pics of him hugging other brothers with a content strange look on his face....like this is my girlfriend look!

  Do you even know he is gay? Maybe he s just a picky person. I mean if he was really gay he could always use the old standby excuse "I'm putting off marriage until the new system", and few would think otherwise. And as for stopping by your house, perhaps they were just working territory in your neighborhood, and thought they would stop by and see you. Maybe instead of picking on his supposed sexuality, pick on his religion and tell him the truth as to why you weren't there.

  what is it about some of these self proclaimed "christians" who go seeking persecution when it don't exist?.

  we've had a case locally in calgary where the initial reports sounded like the person had a legitimate claim: a bus driver didn't want to drive the bus in a gay pride parade and said he'd resign if they made him and that the local transit company was threatening him to force him to do it.. except it was all invented ... by him !.

  they already proactively told him that there was no danger that he would be asked to drive that bus in the parade (i.e.

  I don't know. It seems to me that somewhere in the bible it says that God forgets those in hell, perhaps christians will forget them too. Weird question and what does this have to do with the topic gay marriage.

  SecretSlaveClass, I already answered your question either in this thread or one of the others. The Bible says to hate "what" is bad, it doesn't say hate "who is bad" I don't hate JW's (as a people) but I do hate the Watchtower Society.

  I got over it, and moved on. I have new friends now that actually are genuine in their concern with me--however I have learned from my mistakes. One thing I have learned is just because someone goes to church doesn't make them a christian, and 2 just because someone says they are a friend doesn't mean so. I have learned from that difficult period of my life.
