  do people here feel threatened by bold posts?

  i ask this because it would seem that everyone on this board has an axe to grind, and any "bold" posts that disagree with the majority are ignored.

  i have found that most of the posts i made ended threads.

  What should upset you the most about high gas prices

  your paying so much in gas right now that it has brought out national economy to its knees, and yet the thing that should upset you this most is this .... the goverment is doing "nothing!".

  not one bill has been passed, plan implemented or action taken.

  all talk and no action, which is why our government needs to be fired and replaced or this country is done.. .

  What is upsetting is that there is no valid reason why the prices are as high as they are. We have plenty of Oil on this planet and more is being discovered every day.
  
  some people say it is the speculators driving up the price, but when the largest oilfield ever discovered in this country, it didn't even make a dent in the prices. Which leads me to believe they are purposefully keeping the prices high.
  
  If Saudi Arabia delivered a trillion barrels of oil to this country tomorrow, it probably still wouldn't make a dent in the prices. It is corruption that is keeping the prices high, not a lack of oil.

  Thank you for sharing that Flyinhighnow, I wasn't aware you had posted that already. Your post put a smile on my face and has really made my day. I just wish I was in a better mindset when we hung out here in Knoxville, maybe we could have become even closer friends or even more.

  ... unless you read apostate views.. you may become inactive, like i did, and find a way to assimilate yourself into the normal world.. but you will always have at your core a view of the world that the witnesses gave you.

  their basic teachings will still be your world view.. you will never realize you were indoctrinated by a cult.. for those poisoned by jehovah's witnesses there is only one antidote.. there is only one way to understand your life and progress from there.. the only true cure for jehovah's witnesses is apostasy..
