Picketing
by MAHERSHALALHASHBAZ inwhatever happened to this long lost activity?
i can remember a time when you couldn't make it from the convention doors to your car without being approached by at least one glassy-eyed apostate holding a sign or thrusting a homemade tract under your nose.
ahhhh, those were the days...

I am on topic, I was explaining how to make picketing more effective.
As to the original question, picketers are still out there, just not as plentiful since the 1975 mess.
I picketed in 2004 and 2005 -

Picketing may or may not be effective. If you can get media coverage, even better.

Disfellowshipping isn't new-the history of Southern Disfellowshipping
by dawg inok, so i'm doing research on my family.. we've been in this country since 1650, and like lt. dan on forrest gump, i have had someone from my family fight and die in every us war.
so my family came to georgia in 1789, they were given a land grant for their services in the revolutionary war and settled here near uga/athens.
when they came to the area known as "goose pond" there was only one church that was established.... it was called "millstone creek" baptist.

If money itself were the main issue, then JW's would be tithing and there would be no disfellowshipping.
