Changing our driving habits is not necessary when the technology is there for better mileage. Make more fuel efficient engines to power those SUV's and trucks, that is what we need.
There is plenty of oil, it is simply corporate greed that is keeping the prices inflated.

Car mpg performance. Can anyone explain this?

that is a good question. I had a 1985 Cadillac Eldorado that got almost as good mileage as my 1988 3 cylinder chevy sprint that I had. Makes no sense whatsoever.
My small dodge dakota pickup topped out at 25 mpg, my current chevy Monte Carlo tops out at 25 mpg, yet my 8 cylinder Cadillac topped out at 29 MPG on the highway. -

i think that this is an out-dated philosophy and that girls shouldn't be taught that they have to be in a marriage to be complete.

I replaced most of the bulbs in my apartment with them. I didn't do it because of the environment or to be politically correct. I only did it to save on my electric bill, and I really haven't noticed much of a difference in my bill.
If these bulbs are really that dangerous, then I may go back to the incandescent bulbs. -
