Implications of gay marriage ruling
by Rattigan350 inwhile many think that the ruling is good for the gays and their response is: how does that affect your marriage; then on the other side the religious people cry god and sinners.
but both are missing the forest through the trees.. the problem with the ruling is that which is discussed here so many times.

Those prohibitions were for the nation of Israel--Jesus even said that we can eat those things which were forbidden to the nation of Israel. -

I don't know. It seems to me that somewhere in the bible it says that God forgets those in hell, perhaps christians will forget them too. Weird question and what does this have to do with the topic gay marriage. -

SecretSlaveClass, I already answered your question either in this thread or one of the others. The Bible says to hate "what" is bad, it doesn't say hate "who is bad" I don't hate JW's (as a people) but I do hate the Watchtower Society. -

I got over it, and moved on. I have new friends now that actually are genuine in their concern with me--however I have learned from my mistakes. One thing I have learned is just because someone goes to church doesn't make them a christian, and 2 just because someone says they are a friend doesn't mean so. I have learned from that difficult period of my life. -

Exactly fisherman! but the problem with me was I was stuck living here because of my job, and all of my family and friends lived out of state. I felt very alone here, and then he came along and pretended to be my friend, well let's just say the anger kicked in after I learned the real truth. It is just not right to take advantage of lonely people, and manipulate them. -

Exactly Rattigan350, I escaped the Watchtower where my life was ruled by a few men in Brooklyn, and where the people had no say in anything. There is no way I can support an agenda that attempts to pervert the legal system and the will of the people and place the power in the hands of the few. I detest it! There are many laws I disagree with, but at the end of the day all I can say is that the people have spoken and generally just deal with it.
