there was a very eloquent article to that effect written some time ago by a commentator who attempted to buttress his argument with reference to the postmodern condition and the breakdown of metanarratives in todays secular society, nay, even the come-back for enlightenment notions of truth.
in the 1970/80s there were major challenges to the watchtowers theology (great crowd in heaven) and chronology (1914) in norway, alberta canada, dublin ireland and in the newyork bethel itself: but the damage caused by those involved in the dissent was limited because knowledge was dispersed merely through personal contact and minimal use of obscure publications that seldom met the eyes of witnesses innocent of the watchtowers doctrinal and chronological vacillations in any case.

Annual Meeting : where is yours?
by gingerbread inif the original announcement still hold for this weekends 'open' annual meeting, it will be streamed live to (only) english speaking members.
is this still the plan?.
i'm interested in hearing from all on the forum where 'their' program will be broadcast.. our local kingdom hall will be live streaming the meeting.. .

not only that, but books that help discredit the wt, such as de cruce justus lipsus.... it would be useful to confirm it if you have any doubts that any quotes actually appeared in wt literature.
the nice part about the website is that it is a formal website hosted in the library of alexandria... so you can be sure this is legitimate material.. i have checked many of the old books by comparing them to pictures of old books in the kh and yes, they are legit.. who wants the link?.

Try not to speak out to much to your mother about all the things you learn about how the JW cult is false . She will consider you controlled by the Devil. One thing to say is use the example of Jesus he was not baptized until age 30 . I'm a 3rd generation JW I am inactive and can't speakout to any family or I will be shunned worse than I 'm already . I took until my 50s to do the research that easily proved the JWs are a false pseudo religion . Jwfacts.com helped alot . Keep coming back and asking questions. Also use the search function on this site there are over 4 million posts of great info .
