In fact I don't ever recall a talk on love or how elders should show it to each other, their families, or those in their care.
I guess that explains why so many notice there is little real love in the congregations. It is not a priority of the GB.

I am interested in knowing from Sir or any other elders if that would be a correct assessment.
Or was it given the prominence the scriptures would indicate it deserves,

After all this was a school for elders. Were they not supposed to be learning how to be Christians
themselves and shepherds of the flock of Christ?

hypocritical if we are not loving to Witnesses who come to the board.
As you said, they are now what we once were; deceived, knocked about little sheep.

i was reading another post about a "dear old circuit overseers wife" and it immediately brought back to mind an experience i had with one that wasn't so dear at all .
.. i "knew" this woman before she went into the circuit work with her husband.
granted, i didn't know her well - but i had moved into her congregation a few weeks before she and her husband left to go into the circuit work.
So are you saying she was rude and cold and thoughtless because she was a CO's wife,
or are you saying this particular woman, who happened to be a CO's wife, was rude and cold and thoughtless.
It's just that I have known rude, cold, thoughtless people who were not CO's wives. I have also known
warm, caring, thoughtful, CO's wives.
