  I seen the name of this thread and about fell outta my chair...You are so right..I could never understand not helping folks in need we could build a hall in 2 days but we cant go and help folks in trouble..I mean geez wouldn't that have impressed people...even helping the needy in the community...Thats not a good idea because christindum does it...

  I was a County Medic..They looked down on me...going so far as to say I shouldn't wear my uniform to the hall..I only wore it cause I came stright there from work or had to goto work from there..didn't wanna miss a spiritual meal ya know...Its suchn a crock of bleepedy bleep bleep..

  Strange Bar Snacks

  i know we've all had the usual salty delights placed along the beer slickened runways of our favorite and not so favorite watering holes...(pretzels, peanuts and popcorn etc....)

  but have you ever visted an establishment that veered just a tad from the traditional?

  i know of a place that always has bags of saltine crackers and squeeze mustard placed along the bar and a tables.

  American Idol final: Diana or Fantasia

  i thought both girls sang amazingly last night.

  both had one song that wasn't so great, so the contest was a draw for me.

  since simon so obviously favors fantasia i voted 3 times for diana.

  i can't believe la toya got voted off.

  jasmine seems to be a very sweet girl, but to keep her and vote off la toya is nuts.. i am hoping with it getting down to just 3, that there aren't enough voters in hawaii to keep her in the competition.

  if she wins the whole thing, one of the other girls will have been robbed.. i think simon should rethink his scathing, hurtful comments.

  I have to say I was quite surprised that Jasmine was not voted off...But then again am amazed at some of the ones that got booted earlier..Like that ohhh so fine Jennifer..

  I believe its going to be Fantasia and Diana in the end..

  I cannot stand Fantasia..her voice is ok..but the whole package is just ughhh to me..

  Diabetes

  there are two diseases that seem to "run" in my family: cancer and diabetes.

  this morning my doctor told me that i now have diabetes.

  this really isn't a surprise to me, i've been waiting for the shoe to drop so to speak.

  I was diagnosed last year..its not been easy ..I am still having time with it myself..but theres alotta good advice here so far..

  Scully, those nurse well there called the dreaded Sugar Nazis....My Dr started calling the one I had that..lol

  I was bad associating.. My best friend a specail pioneers son would always get in trouble and since my dad wasn't pulling his weight,well ya know had to be me...

  Funny part was when I left the area for a year he was busted to fornication....hehe and of course was still my fault...could go on and on...

  Not having anything to do with the hospital liaison committee, but I was in traffic the other day behind a large "New System Janitorial Service" truck and I thought, hmmmmmm. Do you think?

  Did you ever save anyones life?

  if so, was it a stranger or was it someone you knew, and how did the relationship develop afterward?

  i did once, a friend who was drowning, after the incident the friendship totally deteriorated and now whenever i think about it, i wonder why i bothered, it's difficult watching someone drown, especially when they shout your name instead of help.

  anyway, anyone got any experiences to share?.
