merry christmas everyone,.

i talked to my active jw mother today, and she informed me about an elder that had been disfellowshipped a couple of weeks ago.

now, this had a profound effect on me, because i've known this elder since i was a little girl.

Who usually buys that stuff?

Some elder?

Or, is it put on the congregation tab?

If some elder personally buys it, then he is probably entitled to drink every last drop.

But, if that wine is put on the congregation's tab...... shouldn't every publisher at least be offered a swig off that bottle?

Though, that sour unfermented WT wine would probably not even be worth the gulp.

somewhere in this world there has got to be a guy named "jesus" that has a birthday on december 25th.

he may be an illegal alien in the u.s., he may live in a latin american country.

he may even be a u.s. born citizen living in hoboken, new jersey.

Alcohol is very popular among JW heavy-weights and their wives. Ask any Bethelite.

Some members of the WT Governing Body own well stocked liquor cabinettes.

Many elders and traveling overseers are not shy when it comes to having a "few" drinks.

Get any of them just talking about alcohol and you will see their passion for alcohol. Especially after they just had a drink or two...

Any JW that actually does get indicted for alcoholism is usually just your average JW or a young JW... Rarely do you see JW big boys being indicted for alcoholism, even though it may be common knowledge in the congo.

Why is this?

Is there some kind of unspoken alcohol requirement for JW hierarchy?

It seems many of the JW and WT "who's who", drink regularly, to the point where it could easily be alcoholism.

Is this a prerequisite for the JW heavy-weights?

Does this promote them to a "made member" from the general JW hierarchy?

Why is little done to address this popular behavior among the JW hierarchy?

JW's a FRUSTRATED people?

we know that the wt portrays the jw's as a "happy" people.

the wt would have the world believe that the wt organization as a whole is a "happy" organization.

yet somehow they still believe that jw's are a "happy" people.

But does the "general public" claim in print and in doctrine to be the "happiest people"? The WT does.

Do those with a college education and nice paying job, as a whole, claim in print and doctrine, to be the "happiest people"? The WT does.

The WT claims that JWs, as a whole, are the "happiest people" on earth.

I HAD A SERIOUSE DREAM (VISION) YESTERDAY

i had a dram.

some of you may life but being a newby ifelt i needed to experience this with you all,what do you think of it please read this ,from a lowly man.. the dream started where i was on the top floor of an old building,which had unstable floors there was no way down & no stairsas i looked out of the window i was enclosed by wire fencing with no way out there was a hole in the floor where there should have been stairs,i started to panick ,suddenly on the floor below a young woman came into view i asked her to help me get down,she didnot seem to want to help at first,but then placed an old type of unsteady ladder up in the stairwell so that i could climb down,i felt it wasnot safe to traverse down therfore i asked her a question as to tryinf another way down ,eventualy i climbed down the ladder, iwas still traped inside a perimitor chainlink fence,i then made my way out of the building through a window directly onto this old fence which was swaying & buckling beneath my weight, i ended up inside another compound at a higher level as i was about to touch the outer perimeter fencing i noticed that i was surrounded by a group of wolves which came running towards me,oww nooooi cried, all but one of the wolves then but dissapeared into tunnels alone wolfcame right up into myface & started groeling of sorts i then said something to the wolf ,then the wolfstarted singing,to me in a very happy voice (duet) this lasted a few minutes iwas then trying to climb over the enclosure fencing with the wolf trying to follow me,i was pushing the wo;f back but it still wanted to follow,.

the next thing i recall .

The WOLF obviously represents APOSTATES (without their "sheeps covering")... because first you thought it was mean, until you talked to it and then all of the sudden, it was not so bad after all, it was nice and starting singing ("apostate propaganda" probably) to you.

The DOBERMAN DOGS obviously represent the ELDERS... because they were intimidating and scaring you.

And the DRIVER OF THE CAR obviously represents the WT ORGANIZATION... because they would not do a damn thing to help protect you from the vicious Doberman dogs. And, because, as a driver of a car, they are in control of everything...

And the ILLNESS OF THE YOU, FAMILY & FRIENDS obviously represents the sickening hardship the whole ELDER/WT situation has placed on you, the family and friends.

Silent Lambs/Bill Bowen..Who rejoices now?

having read the exchanges between rev, bill bowen, and others involved in the silent lambs website, i honestly feel sickened.

i remember when i first started to hear rumblings that "something big" was going down regarding the society's handling of child abuse.

i was overjoyed because i had first-hand knowledge of several atrocities in this regard and was hoping against all odds that a major upset would force them to change their policies.

The VAST MAJORITY of JWs have NO IDEA what is currently going on with Bill Bowen and the others. And many JWs probably do not care. They have likely disregarded all of it as apostate propaganda anyway.

If the JWs did know what was going on right now with Bill Bowen and the others, shouldn't all those JWs by immediately Reproved or DFd for dabbling with information from those who 'oppose God's earthly organization'?
