Proselytizing for Jehovah's Witnesses during last Sunday's Vikings game wasn't the smoothest call Prince has ever made. An Eden Prairie woman, who prefers to be identified only as Rochelle, said, "Door bell rings. My husband runs upstairs and says, `Prince is at the door!' I said, `No way.' " Even though this was an inopportune time, they let in the man who introduced himself as "Prince Nelson" and another man. "I'm terrible with names," Rochelle said. "He was a bass player for some group, a long time ago. Older gentleman." Larry Graham? "Very good," Rochelle said. "This is Sunday about 2 o'clock. And it's the night of Yom Kippur. My first thought is `Cool, cool, cool. He wants to use my house for a set. I'm glad! Demolish the whole thing! Start over!' Then they start in on this Jehovah's Witnesses stuff. I said, `You know what? You've walked into a Jewish household, and this is not something I'm interested in.' He says, Can I just finish? Then the other guy, Larry Graham, gets out his little Bible and starts reading scriptures about being Jewish and the land of Israel." Uh-oh. Rochelle said she could not help but think, the Vikings had possession of the ball about two seconds ago. "They stayed for about 25 minutes," Rochelle said. "Left us a pamphlet." She should have asked Symbolina for an autograph. "There's no reason to slam him," she said. "He didn't do anything wrong; he was very kind. We watched him leave. Outside is a big black truck with a woman, long dark hair, in the front seat and they left." The woman met the general description of Prince's supposed wife, Manuella. Rochelle seemed perplexed that Prince didn't seem to stop at any other houses in her neighborhood. "They go door-to-door. Walking. He wasn't walking. He was driving." Hey, he was knocking on doors during a Vikings-Falcons game - you can't expect Symbolina to follow ALL the rules of the religion he declared as his new faith in a 2001 magazine interview. "It was so bizarre, you would have just laughed," she said. The perfect esprit d'escalier came to Rochelle after Prince left: "If I showed up at Paisley Park, would you let me in your front door to talk about Judaism?" There was no response from Paisley Park, where a note seeking a comment was delivered Thursday.

by AndersonsInfo in(baylor university, waco, tx) an essay entitled, "jehovah's witnesses, blood transfusions, and the tort of misrepresentation," found in the autumn issue of baylor universitys prestigious journal of church and state, published december 13, 2005, exposes the vulnerability of jehovahs witnesses religious organization to massive claims for compensation because of the religions misrepresentation of the medical risks of blood transfusions.
this milestone essay critically examines one of the religions main publications for teaching their children and new recruits about their blood beliefs, how can blood save your life?
the peer-reviewed essay details many misrepresentations of medical facts, which the religion partly relies on to support its blood prohibition, thus denying its members from making fully informed medical decisions.

Will the WT file suit over this article, like they are doing to Quotes?

Maybe the Pope will make an Aussie KH appearance with his cousin. That would be interesting. I wonder what the JW reaction would be?
When I read this news article I had to wonder how can the Pope be so sure that the KHs are full?
1. He has entered a KH meeting?
2. He believes everything he hears?
3. His JW cousin misrepresented his statement?

Foul play likely in double-fatality in Yellowstone National Park
By Marlo Pronovost
The horrific incident that took the lives of an Arizona man and his son in Yellowstone National Park seven weeks ago today may not have been an accident.
Park Investigator Brian Smith said this week there are three possible scenarios that could have caused 50-year-old Drew Speedie and his 13-year-old son Brent to fall off the bridge on September 16:
1) An accident.
2) Suicide.
3) Homicide / suicide.
An accident caused by a third party - such as a passing car knocking the pair over the side of the bridge - has been ruled out.
"We are treating it like a homicide," Smith said. "We are getting closer to being able to determine what we believe happened."
More work lies ahead. Standard psychological profiles will be done, and there will be more interviewing of co-workers, friends and family members in Arizona, in order to collect as much information as possible.
Forensic evaluations of the Speedie computer are planned as well. Smith said his office is getting close to being able to determine what happened on that Friday morning.
Rangers were alerted to a problem at the bridge by an Asian man who flagged down a ranger at the Mammoth Chapel, located approximately 1.2 miles away.
The man did not speak English and the ranger was uncertain of what was being said, other than he needed to get to the bridge immediately.
The bridge is more than 800 feet long and 200 feet in height. It is flanked by railings that are about chest height, making the likelihood of someone slipping over the edge unlikely.

Fats,
In #76, the man seated on the left, wearing a light colored suit, looks like Carey Barber, the now 100 year old member of the Governing Body.
In #74a, the man in the background behind Fred Franz does look like Fred's nephew Raymond Franz who later became an "apostate".
It must have been something serious or some major butt kissing for those WT reps to show up at that congregation.

Probe of Yellowstone deaths extends to Arizona By Amanda Lee Myers, Tribune September 21, 2005 The investigation into the case of a Scottsdale man and his son who plummeted 200 feet to their deaths in Yellowstone National Park soon will extend to Arizona. Officials with the National Park Service will talk to Arizonans who knew 50-year-old Drew Speedie and his 13-year-old son Brent to collect background for the investigation, said Brian Smith, Park Service special agent in charge of investigating the deaths.
The Speedies plunged 200 feet from Gardner River Bridge to their deaths Friday while on vacation in Wyoming, officials said.
Irene Speedie — Drew’s wife and Brent’s mother — reported the pair’s absence about three hours after they left to take pictures, said park spokeswoman Cheryl Matthews.
"Of course it’s suspicious," Smith said. "Think of all the scenarios where two people could fall off a bridge. We’re going to explore every one of those possibilities."
Those possibilities include falling, jumping or being pushed off the bridge, Smith said.
Investigators are seeking a man who reported an incident at the bridge Friday.
The man did not speak English, and while officials weren’t able to get a phone number for him, they were able to determine that something had happened at the bridge, Smith said.
"We’re looking very hard for that person," he said. "We believe that person was on scene and either looked over the bridge and saw (the Speedies) at the bottom, or saw what happened."
Autopsies showed the two died from blunt force trauma to their heads from the fall, but Smith said investigators are still awaiting forensic testing on their blood and other items.Contact Amanda Lee Myers by telephone at (480) 970-2330. -
