when you look into all the publications and predictions about the last days, the jws are always represented in groups in someone's house.

this isn't happening right now.

they are all told to stay in their individual homes and watch jwsteaming!.

How do some JWs think they will finally be free of Watch Tower after the End?

Watch Tower continues to teach that their congregation elders and the GB helpers along with "faithful men of old" will be appointed to rule as "princes" in the post-Armageddon "new world society".... they use Psalm 45:16 as a basis for this doctrine.

For PIMI JWs, there is no escape from Watch Tower male rulership, ever.

If a JW believes he or she will ever be free of Watch Tower post-Armageddon, that JW is not truly PIMI.

think of the possibilities, if this technology is all they have to stay in touch with their minions think of the wonderful possibilities..... 1. think of what just one molotov cocktail or flame thrower could do to their broadcasting room and the "world wide work.

2. or better yet if "v" (for vendetta) hacked into their broadcasting system...and told them the real truth.

3. just one rogue bethelite could have all kinds of fun..... i can dream can't i.....

Watch Tower is tighting its grip on JW elders during this pandemic. "Rogue" is unlikely at this time for a couple reasons:

JWs obediently rally during times of catastrophe because they believe doing so will improve their chance of survival.
Rogue fallout is typically possible after major events fail to meet expectations.

Watch Tower is its own worse enemy.

So stay tuned!

as sgt pepper sang, "it was 20 years ago today" ... that i made my first post on my first forum.. i obviously didn't put too much thought into what it should say although i must have burned 45 posts testing things and was too lazy to reset the counter before going live (?):.

we prepared our “to go” bag, and we await gods direction from the slave on our exit plan.

we submitted our “destination” away back when, the address of our worldly relatives where we planned to flee to for salvation.

That costs money! So only if freely donated!

The Watch Tower has used private charter aircraft (and first class seats) over the years. Fleet ownership would be a costly liability for Watch Tower, but anything is possible, especially if freely donated by any wealthy ring-bearing JWs.

It has been in print during recent years, now under "adjustments" for application to pandemic end time circumstances preparing JWs for deliverance.

PIMI JWs ignore cognitive dissonance.

They want the end time to come in their lifetime, so they will take it anyway they can get it, even if comes in a way that contradicts their long held beliefs. And they always have a rationale to explain any discrepancies.

When I was disfellowshiped I could not get a JW to talk with me.

That was a problem with JW social skills, not mine.

Have you Witnessed a Change in People's Life-Style / Behaviour where you Live?

i certainly have , over the normal week i go to one of two clubs where i have two beers over a couple of hours ( i pace myself ) and catch up with a few friends .

one of the clubs every hour goes around to disinfect everywhere people make contact with pokies /machines or whatever we might touch.and they also now have limits as to how many can be in a certain area at any one time.and that applies to both clubs ,except one does not disinfect every hour.. today, their were far fewer people in this particular club that i attended that is usually bustling with patrons on a saturday either drinking gambling and socializing .not today.

and a strict rule of how many could be in a certain area at any one time .. and i agree with all of this , its necessary .and i will be monitoring my own activities as need be.. what have you noticed in your neck of the woods.?

The pandemic is causing people to be even less interested in Watch Tower propaganda.

Too much happening to be interested in JWs that have all but disappeared from everywhere.

Construction Projects During "The Final Part of the Final Part of the Last Days"

mr. lett: if these are true signs of the last days, why does the society continue these expensive building projects?

why not delay these projects and help all italians who have lost their jobs and are struggling financially during this pestilence?.
