I live in a country where people did listen. The threat was taken seriously with immediate shut down. None compliance was meet with public naming and shaming on national TV, and court appearances. I think the results speak for themselves really. Covid is almost a thing of the past. I’ve kept my job, house prices are booming with very low interest rates, and the local economy is in good shape compared to other western countries. The present government that handled the covid situation, steam rolled the opposition in the elections a few weeks back, and it has been stated that the election was won on the handling of Covid. I don’t think it was a case of the opposition doing badly but rather the present government doing well. I must admit this was a major factor in my voting decision. I think for a relatively small country, of only a couple of million people, we are the envy of the world.

I’m my opinion this “to hell with anyone else attitude” can be seen with gun laws in the USA. Right to bear arms, first amendment, and absolutely no one is going to tell me anything else. I'm feeling cold

when i was a jw i would look to the bible or the wt society to answer all of my problems.. now as an older person i get cold in the wintertime and have trouble getting warm down to bad circulation.

i found an answer in the bible at 1 kings 1:2, but i don't think my pimi wife will let me apply this bible principle.

Very good and recent recording of a judicial committee

came across this today and wished to share it with any that might want to hear.this happened within and over the last few months as you can tell from their references to covid-19 and the precautions they are having to take and you will hear a few dates mentioned as you listen.the first part is good but it gets even better in the second part (final).i'm really impressed with the knowledge this "apostate" has and how well he conducted himself.so much i could say but will let you see for yourself.love to see when others aren't intimidated or humiliated by the so called "loving" brothers on the committee.part 1https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bz0tm1mrbfcpart 2https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i92w4mv5gf0.

To be honest, although I haven’t heard it, I quite enjoy listening to judicial committees. It gives so much insight into the different mind sets of both the elders and the one been disfellowshiped. It interesting to see the different replies that are given when really there is no argument.

New Zealand Begins Selling Kingdom Halls

the wainui-o-mata hall is closing and from 01 february they will be relocated to the 200 seater hall in newlands.

johnsonville is merging with the wellington west congregation and will be known at wellington central also to be located in the newlands hall.

wellington east will remain in the hall in kilbirnie at this stage but rumour has it that this hall will also be sold and they will make up the third congregation sharing the newlands hall.
