That’s the the thing that bugs me was just how easy it was to fade. I was in the troof for decades, and literally knew thousands up and down the country. Physically walked out about a decade ago, and to this day I could count on half of one hand those that I’ve been in contact with. I’m really in 2 minds as how to take it. As an insult due to their lack of concern, or as a blessing as it saved me the hassle of having to deal with them. I hear reports of people been tracked down by elders but that was certainly not the case with me. Call me fortunate I guess.

I think the Jw Religion is getting better. Not by choice.
by pistolpete inone of my jw family member had a big get together.
he invited a lot of his jw friends.
there was teenage kids, couples, singles.

To be honest, I consider my JW upbringing not celebrating Christmas to be advantageous. I just can’t be bothered with it but merry Christmas.

2020’s are already a Train Wreck for JW ORG
by Reservations inas the title says, we are nearly at the end of the 2nd year of the 2020’s, and already jw org is not only a car crash, but an absolute train wreck.. i’ve watched the annual meeting 2021 already, and it seems the gb are in fighting, morris openly disagreeing with lett, that is massive, and it’s something that has largely not been commented on by this community.
covid-19 is not going anywhere, any trial meetings will surely be shut down, now omicron is doing the rounds.. it looks highly likely we will see a second negative growth year.
“young ones” are waking up by the masses.

I have demonstrated in the past that there are other religious groups that are doing a lot worse than the JWs. For example of the 16 million LDS members the church claims. The actual number who regularly attend could be as low as 3 million. Of the 3 million world wide, those that believe it enough to hold a temple recommend card could be as few as 1.5 million. Even with a jw activity, and belief, rate of 50% they would way out strip the Mormon church. I actually think in the present climate the JWs have done remarkably well.

What I’m after is that link. I remember seeing it some time ago. It shows JWs at an assembly in Chile, acting like it was a Pentecostal meeting. Then it goes to an actual Pentecostal meeting. There is virtually no difference

Hello to all you good people. An elder who I knew in my JW days has just been employed at my place of work. Now I want to be prepared for him when he encourages me to return to Jehovah. The problem is I can’t remember the link. It shows an international convention in Chile with the jw acting similar to a Pentecostal revival meeting. It then shows a Pentecostal revival meeting and asks the question what is the difference. The thing that I want to impress on him is “how can I return to something that is no longer there.” Can anybody help me with the link please. Much appreciated thanks

by justice34 ini'm dealing right now with veru extreme situations that most of us have been in this sect.. i've talk to the elders because i was smoking cigarettes and i stopped for a couple of weeks.
the reason i did that because mamy things are going on right now in my life.
i'm out, i don't attend meetings i don't want to do anything with them anymore but i live in a small community so i want to go out without giving attention to anybody.. the reason i told them what i'm doing because my wife is still one of them and other people learn of some other things i have been doing and i had to tell something for obvious reasons.. the elsers tho the haven't answer to me back in 2 weeks almost and today one of them called me to give me some information.
