  Does anyone know what is happening with Italy's (Rome) Bethel???

  there are rumors out, that the italy (rome) bethel is being shut down and putting out to pasture a large portion of the bethel staff.. has anyone heard anything... ?.

  the word is that everyone but the most senior members will be let go.

  the senior bethel family members will be reassigned.

  I'm gunna give you my story from a guy who has just recently faded. I had loyally gone to the meetings for over 40 years, and in that time had never missed reporting a month of F/S. I stopped going about 5 months ago, and in that time only 1 JW from the hall even bothered to phone me. I recently put a up on Jehovahs Witness net saying how I was just tired, and with in 24 hours I had about 6 PMs from people giving me there contact details offering assistance if I wanted someone to talk to. All this from a complete stranger. What saddens me the most is that it was from a group of mentally diseased apostates who are speaking wicked lies, and trying to draw of followers after themselves who out shone gods visible organisation here on earth. Shame on you Holy Spirit. Shame!!!

  last decade, a congregation was dissolved.. last year, about a half a dozen or so congregations meeting in a double-hall got re-orged and it works out to one less congregation.

  they received all new territories, bodies of elders, publishers.

  In all honesty the one that has merged in the area I live in, was not because of a lack of witnesses but because of people moving away from rural areas into the cities.

  Why do some JW`s get married multiple times ? Isnt that an indictment against jw beleifs ?

  this isnt a slight against any here who have married more than once.

  and of course if you have left the religion you are not bound by their doctrines.. however i am concerned with jehovahs witnesses, people in good standing within the congregation who have married multiple times , and it seems it is not a rare occurence .their seems to be many who have married 2 or 3 times.

  i personally knew a sister that was married 5 times and was a sister in good standing .admittedly this may have been an exception .. however divorce is not an isolated incidence with jehovahs witnesses , nor is it isolated that the witnesses themselves initiate divorce proceedings .. another thing , jehovahs witnesses are only 8 million world, a wide a small sect compared to other major religions.. so i just wonder what the ratio of jw`s compared to mainstream religion is regarding divorce .. can anybody fill in these figures ?

  i know of two cases of private reproof for child sex offenders and after reading john cedars story, it sicken's me to admitt we actually reproved brothers for porn both private and pubically.

  porn is so minor compared to the horrible sins we covered over, what is wrong with this group of false teachers who are being lead by the blind?.

  In this country I know of a DO who became an apostate, and latter went to splitsville with the misses. I know of 1 CO who split with his misses shortly after coming off circut work and I know another CO who split with his misses while on circuit work, and I heard he is now a police officer.

  I was semi involved in a foreign language group before I left, and I have to say that they do have quite a different atmosphere to them. Lots of new faces all the time. Bible studies, and higher quantities of youth.

  How will WTBTS turn growth around

  i know sometimes i can come across as an opologist.

  i just can't seem to help myself, and i do apologize.

  i had a thought on how could the wtbts turn their fortunes around to reducing the out flow, and getting a more positive growth of publishers, particularly in western lands.

  Hey all you comments are well based. I realize that Wt dosnt change until it absolutly has to. But you think about some of the changes they have made that 20 years ago would have seemed impossible. With regard to the internet they are now going fully on line e.g you tube account, and I can only see it been a matter of time before they do a full back track and encourage preaching on it. They just have to as the present situation with sites like this it is just killing them.
