  any tips on how to get thru convention meetings as painless as possible?

  i have the most awful time doing nothing for 4 hours straight.

  last time i resorted to doodling in my "note" book, but i got it taken away.

  me and the misses come home from a hard day at work together at 9 pm and are busy cleaning up the house.

  cleanin cleanin tidy this up n that..... comes to 11:30 pm and we are sorta finishing off, havent had a shag in a week or so, not even a blowy, so i look at her and say.

  bathory : so mate, i mean just so i can know, so i can book it in and finish off this stuff, ahh, is there one in it ??.

  Should Religion Be Exempt From Ethical Standards?

  i want to raise this serious question: should religion be exempt from normal societal ethical standards?.

  i'm raising this question for several reasons.

  there is a recent thread where people are arguing about whether religious confessions should be privileged communications.

  Religion should be the highest form of ethical standards they should set the norm but they don't they never have unless burning people at the stake for reading their Bibles was entertainment! The Dubs have failed horribly in the ethics department along the vain of Do as I say not as I do

  as witnesses, we were admonished to never look at horoscopes because they are demonic.

  many jw's that i knew of would not even look at a fortune cookie because they could be "demonized".

  The dubs are te one with the problem God meant you too have pleasure sexually or it wouldn't feel good It takes a little time (my hubby felt this way too grew up a dub) but once you get past the programming your realize life is for the living and loving.

  School report

  well my first week is over whew i am really enjoying my classes.

  my creative writing teacher has her doctorate and studied in chicago and england but i had no idea we had to read our stuff aloud, my experience in hs was you wrote and submitted it to the teacher.

  i guess my face turned bright red when she told us lol i am very closed about my writing so this will be weird for me.

  Yep I agree I am a little older than that 39 the 24th of this monthI still can't believe time has flown so fast ...

  I see people on campus that are in their 70's and 80's I agree that learning is the coolest thing and I really love to explore new ideas. I think it makes us all more excepting and for me I am getting a kick of how the kids love the "old lady" to be in their group because I actuall study LOL

  So far I agree with all of the above LOL except the Oral RobertsLOL<jus kiddin> and LB NO WONDER I got in trouble I always answered my own way <dang it now they tell me>LOL

  1)The way they treated my children

  2)They let my in laws verbally and emotionally and pysically abuse their children and then their grandchildren and me and DID nothing about it.

  3)made me feel as if I was the nut LOL when they were

  4)making me shun my Mother when she needed me (she wasn't a witness)

  5)They treat people like crap

  6) They harbour what they want to and kick out who they want with no accountability

  7)The worst phrase in the whole world"Leave it in Jehovah's hands he will take care of it in his time" YUCK
