  First Xmas present from my father in 21 years

  last night, i went to my parents' place to pick up something.

  my dad didn't tell me what it was, but he said to pick it up.

  the two items were all wrapped up in wrapping paper (even though it wasn't xmas wrapping paper).

  we had, wait for it.....................home made beef curry and it was fantastic .

  i was going to make a dinner, but since there only 3 of us and were not quite there yet, we decided to have our favorite....curry ym.

  if the day ever comes and my daughter and her man are out ill have the biggest christmas ever.. but for now, i feel a little empty, and id feel fake, you know trying to enjoy it.

  Thunder made his stuffed boneless turkey, XWarrior and Valis can attest to its goodness (they have partook before) LOL Green Beans, Mashed potatos and my Gravy made in a cast iron pan like Granny made it.

  We were alone, Ants not here and my daughter had to work..baby had this holiday with her Dad. We were supposed to go over to Bart Hoss' and be with he WildThing and others but I was sick from too much eggnog and brandy last night

  i really don't mean to be a bummer on christmas, but i just needed to vent.

  even if nobody responds i don't care i just needed to let it out.

  if it was any day other than christmas i'd call up a friend to talk about it but i don't feel right calling anyone to pout on christmas.

  the kids are very enthusiastic about it.

  and i was happy providing them with something i did not have as a kid.

  you're 18, (considered an adult), want to move out of your parents house to get away from your dysfunctional mom, and can't because you feel guilty leaving your mom and dad because your parents have alot of health problems?.

  i absolutely cannot function in this environment.

  Banned from the Kingdom Hall?

  so i was just wonderin' if anyone has ever heard of someone getting banned from the kingdom hall.

  my dad who was a very looked up to elder before my parents divorce and allways a very devout jw recently got banned from the kh, this is the 1st time hearing of someone getting banned, see this elder was talkin to his new wife a little too much and he thought they were gettin a little too close and he told this dude to back off and he didnt so this elder had a talk one night and my dad stood up in the middle of the hall right as this dude got on stage and announced that he better stay away from his wife, he was asked to leave and he refused so they called the cops on him and the cops came right in and escorted him out.

  so anywho they wont let him come back, they didnt df him or reprove him or anything just banned his ass-way to go dad, probably the best thing that ever happened to him, too bad he allready wasted 2/3 of is life in that sh*t. so has anyone else ever heard of getting banned?-april

  Thunder and I aren't DF or anythign that I know of but the last meeting he was told he was a disruption to the meeting. He had told them that due to his bad wreck,(3 ruptured disks and 2 herniated disks) he couldn't sit or stand much. They kept encouraging him to come to a meeting, we went, sat in the back. He stood for awhile then sat and elder came to him and told him he was a disruption...we have never been back

  catching a quick chance to say merry christmas (screw that politically correct "happy holidays" thing) .

  going out in the sub zero temps to finish the grocery shopping and then it's packers vs. vikings this afternoon and my bro and i with some lobsters and libations and some movies this evening while i make the last of the horsey dersies and wrap miss e's gifts for tomorrow morning when she gets home from her dad's.

  Thunder and I are freezing our asses off in Missouri...it's 15 degrees here BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRHOBBBBBBIT

  We are having a quiet Christmas, Baby Mak was with us on Thanksgiving and had her Christmas then. Ant was home then and gone nowMel has to work and so Thunder and I are just alone. I am gonna make the Quiche tonight (our tradition for Xmas morning) then tomorrow we will watch the Chiefs game and watch Christmas movies. I am crocheting trying to get XenaWarriors gift done by next Christmas(yes I know I suck)

  Then hopefully Sunday we are going to go to Silver Dollar City in Branson and see the Christmas display.

  Then Monday I am mailing out the rest of my Christmas cards ROFLMAO (I had FINALS people be nice) and our Secret Santa giftsYa I know ...pathetic.....
