ok i went to the welfare office this morning.. the case worker was a very nice lady, her name is maria.

all smiles and very friendly too.. she knows about the wal-mart situation and has gotten alot of employees who have gotten fired for whacked out reasons.. she needs some info from wal-mart, but problem is that wal-mart tends to screw with the social workers trying to get info from them and she's had been given alot of run arounds from them before.

so she told me it would be 2-3 weeks before she gets any info from wal-mart before i can get any help from them.

Today was his day....

today my son anthony michael turned 18!!!!

it is a very happy but bittersweet day.

he thought we had forgotten him, but i had arranged with his swimteam coach to bring the boys over on the pretext of them going out for dinner after practice.

Today my son Anthony Michael turned 18!!!! It is a very happy but bittersweet day. He thought we had forgotten him, but I had arranged with his swimteam Coach to bring the boys over on the pretext of them going out for dinner after practice. I had been running around getting stuff and Thunder made his famous spaghetti and meatballs. I had ordered a cake with picture of Anthony walking into the town pool when he was about 15months old When they pulled up, a whole procession of cars, Anthony got out grinning I had put a Happy Birthday sign in the yard. I of course got a pic of that grin.

We have a small house so it was cool to see us fit 17 boys a coach and Melanie and Makayla in it LOL But although I will probably flunk my psych test in school tomorrow it was well worth it. I still can't believe my baby is a man .....<heavy sigh.

Have You Been Divorced?

divorce is much more common in the jehovah's witness community than they would like to admit.

probably more so than the population in general.. if you have been divorced do you think that the watchtower society contributed to the divorce, or caused it, or is it just possible you married some jerk or abuser and divorce would have occured no matter what religion you were, or even if you had no religion?.

possibly you got married way too young as the end was coming and there is no marriage in the resurrection if you died.

Hubby passed away this morning...

i want to thank all those that helped and encouraged me in my hard times!..hubby passed away from his cancer this morning.

i am so sad my heart is broken.

we decided to go ahead and have a memorial for him this weekend at the kingdom hall he went to.

Golden Girl: Thunder Rider and I send our biggest hugs and sympathy for you loss. I can't imagine what you must be feeling but I hope that you will find the love and support you need in you family and the forum.
