  Have you ever scared the crap out of someone?

  the recent thread about "supernatural" experiences helped me to remember the times i enjoyed playing frightening pranks on people.. example #1: years ago the employees at a place i worked for had a 40th birthday party for one of the women we worked with.

  it was a typical "somber and dark" humorous party with black balloons, black candles on the birthday cake... all meant to suggest that at 40 ife as you know it is just about over.

  it's funny, but 25 years after my 40th birthday i'm yearning for those days when things were better.. ...but i digress.

  because of this it's becoming tempting to privately share my views with friends, but i know this is still too dangerous.

  I was talking to a close jw friend of mine recently, both her & her husband are now inactive. I think her words say it all: 'the "truth" is not what it used to be, too many changes have made it too confusing & I don't know what they believe, or what I'm supposed to believe anymore". I told her I remember years ago when I aux pioneered, we were telling people that the generation that saw 1914 would see the end do this system, but they recently changed that to the overlapping generations which makes no sense at all. She agreed with me...

  @fulltimestudent... Interesting comparison & soooo true... I started to see they were weak men, full of their own shit & self importance about a year before due to things I experienced coz of them... Findings sites like this confirmed my suspicions & gave me my sanity back... But they were right about one thing, the truth (about the truth) really does set u free.

  before i dive into the actual write-up of this experience, let me put some things straight.. i have thought long and hard if i should write more about my experiences during the 10+ years at different branches.

  during these years i worked from financial department, service department, home office and different it assignments.

  as you can imagine one sees and hears and reads a lot of stuff going through different stations in different countries.

  @joe134cd - Joe Slayman's wife's name is Jean - we had the 'privledge' (cough, cough) of having lunch with them at Bethel. My friend I was travelling with at the time knew them really well. They seemed very down to earth, decent people...
