Choosing ignorance or superstition over knowledge and science is definitely NOT the same in any way, shape or form. Otherwise, we would all still live in the Dark Ages.
Yes, I understand what you are saying. I am not at all religious and choose science over religion in practical day to day existence. I find it far more interesting. However, what I was attempting to point to is bigger: the REALITY which exists no matter which filters we see through, be they religious or scientific. There is a REALITY that does nor require or need our meager religious or scientific mental constructs and paradigms. It is as it IS; and it can be met with and realized when the mind is silent of its renderings and facsimiles.
Certainly MQ, you must have some sense of a genuine reality other than the abstract concepts fluttering about in your little mind.
