  Where the need is greater: TTATT in Spanish

  it seems most of the us growth is in spanish-speaking territory, and of course, there is growth in the nations where spanish is the predominant language.

  most sites oriented around ttatt, are english-speaking.

  there seems then to be a great need for translators...for instance, imagine if there was a spanish version of www.jwfacts.com.. unfortunately, i dont speak this language.

  Its unbelievable how can they listen so many lies about all kind of stuff.

  we are the only ones, the true true owners, they are so arrogant, the others are wrong, they are stupid, ignorants,

  circular thinking, false logic, changing teachings (keep informed about the new lights!!!), false information about

  belives of other religions, forced smiles, false happiness, and a sad face behind of every NTW...

  Interview at work

  i conducted an interview for a job last week......... kool jo: welcome to company "x", thank you for taking the time out to attend the interview session as scheduled.. jw applicant: thank you for the oppurtunity.. kool jo: you have an amazing resume, so tell me some more about yourself.... so i asked some traditional questions and then we get to point of the discussion pertaining to....you guessed it...work schedule.. kool jo: so in this industry, you have to be able to work varying hours/shifts ect...since you're going to be the rookie.. jw applicant: well i really love the oppurtunity and i've been unemployed for a while, but i have some questions...would i be able to get saturdays, sundays, and thursday evenings off?.

  kool jo: i won't be able to guarantee you that...our clients can be quite demanding and we have to fit into their schedule.. jw applicant: well, the truth is, i'm one of jehovah's witnesses, and i have commitments that are very important to me, hence my reason for asking.. kool jo: (a big wtf moment)...i just pretended i didn't know a thing about jw's....so what happens if a client wants to meet with you on a saturday morning?.

  jw applicant: well, i guess i'd have to come for work...you have no idea how happy i am to even be called for an interview.

  I been in a similar experience, well, two experiences...Im in human resources..

  In the first one, we need some trailer drivers. During the interview, one candidate says that he was a jw. I know how important their meetings are, so i told him if he was sure about to take the work, we have a variable schedule and we cannot assure him to go out at the time of his meetings. He told me that he need the work, but in his face was this expression of dissapointment. So i told him that have a little chat with his wife about this, and if he was sure about the job and his schedule, i wait for him. So, he left, and about 4 hours he call and says: thank you for the offer, but... (the rest is obvious)

  The second experience. Im in some private security organization, so a hire a lot of security guards, scolts, etc. In the uniform that they have to use, its a mexican flag on one arm. So, im about to hire this guy, so i told him about to try to put on the uniform. he sees the flag and say: "I can take off the flag??", I say: no. And he says that he is on a bible study with jw and he can port something with the national flag. And he left...

  it seems like lots of people have big dreams of 'destroying the watchtower'.

  it's usually linked to a story of how they were wronged and want some revenge.

  do these 'in your face' attempts to convince people that the truth isn't the truth really have an effect?.

  Emergency relief fund for the Philippines. How will it work.

  i was just thinking it will be interesting to see how the wts emergency relief fund will operate in the philippines.

  ok it worked well with the storm in florida, with cashing in on the insurance cheques.

  sorry to generalize, but americans have the disposable income, and the insurance polices for things like this - a thing the wtbts finds very attractive.

  About vaccination

  the other day, we (my df wife and i) take our baby to his firsts vaccinations.

  since he born, my parents-in-law ( former witnesses) .

  violated the prohibition of talking with us and there are more close to us than before.

  violated the prohibition of talking with us and there are more close to us than before. when we arrive to our house, they are waiting us Amd we have a little dinner and a religious-less nice conversation. The theme of vaccinations shows up, and my father-in law say things like: thank god that we have that kind of things that prevents illness in the babies, etc, etc. while me thinking "if you know that jw condemned vaccination". I said nothing and just nodded. When they left i said to my wife: "you know, they are still some religions than dont allow their people to get vaccinations, letting their children died, etc because they beliebe its satans works or something. And sje answer: "its horrible how do they believe, is about your son health"

  do i should told her and my parents in law about the jw doctrine about this?? They both seems to know nothing about....
