I posted on the forum regarding this scam bak in December and last week. I have been DA for almost 12 years from the Borg. MY third daughter is married to the son of Darryl Willis, and as a former wife of an elder in Helena, I can say that Darryl Willis and Dale Erickson have ALWAYS had very questionable business practices. I have known those families for almost 30 years and it took a long time for this behavior to be exposed. I am SO glad I got out of the corruption I saw going on (although my freedom came at great cost) and I only hope that someday my daughters will open their eyes and see how they have wasted so much of their life. Oh well, as more of these things come to LIGHT I feel that the Watchtower Society will have to pay up or dissolve into dust.....one can only hope! My daughters have treated me horribly since I left my former abusive elder husband and because I simply didn"t believe in the garbage any longer. You can be sure that the JW children of Darryl and Dale benefited from this dear old womans ESTATE. I do believe there are many still trapped in the organization that are really good people and only hope that they will have the courage and strength to leave. PEACELILY

It took me five years to finally gather the courage to leave the BORG, my verbally and physically abusive husband, and knowing that my children would not comprehend the severity of the decision. One of my four daughters left also and she has had the royal treatment as I have. It is truly amazing to me that this kind of corruption is so prevalent among the congregations. As I mentioned on my last post my ex was an elder, I was at one time a regular pioneer, the more I studied the more I questioned what I was reading. I was told that I needed to beware of thinking independtly.....(they said trying to justify why I left;) that I had lost my mind. I replied that" no I never lost it, I just never let them take my mind". After 17 years of oppression I reclaimed my life. By the way, Darryl Willis and Dale Erickson were the ultimate Drama Kings on the podium giving talks...Dale Erickson used to wear face makeup to the Kingdom Hall, no kidding! Dale Erickson was in Helena before moving to Missoula. They will certainly have a different lifestyle in the Deer Lodge prison! With all that is being exposed in the BORG now, it is only a matter of time when Jehovahs Witnesses will dissolve. I truly believe that will happen, in time. In the meantime: Life is Good and is to be lived to the fullest every day... PEACELILY

I posted on the forum when this was first brought to LIGHT back in December. It has been many years that I have waited for things that I saw going on within the congregation in Helena, MT.to come to the fore. One of my four daughters is married to the son of Darryl Willis, isn't that a paradox (the wedding was last October, and because I DA myself almost 12 years ago from the CORRUPTION I have been the outcast, as anyone who has been there would know) I was not included in any way in my daughters wedding, was told if I came I would have to sit in the back of the Kingdom Hall, no one would talk to me because I was on Satans side not being part of the ORG. (With this recent HUGE scandal somehow there is something wrong with this picture) Needless to say after searching my heart I did not go to my daughters wedding and put myself in such an unbelievably cruel situation. Perhaps after all of this my daughters as well as others will wake up. I knew these men and their families! I am glad I got out of my abusive marriage (my ex was an elder) the corruption and lack of love within the organiztion, the lack of LIFE within so many still trapped. It has been very diffucult at times to continue to show unconditional love to my daughters as they have been incredibly cruel and unloving to me, howver; maybe this script has not been entirely written and we never know when others will see things as they really are. That thought comforts me, in the meantime I continue to LOVE and LIVE my life in freedom. PEACELILY

What a brave and courageous woman you are: think about it ,traveling cross country with your young children and believing it is for their spiritual growth and highest good. I believe that the motive behind our actions speaks much louder than any law of man can. I also have to hold onto the hope that the Universe is aware of our intention and LOVE will prevail in the midst of pain and injustice . The first shall be last and the last shall be first. IT IS A UNIVERSAL SPIRITUAL LAW in all spiritual traditions, I truly believe that!
Peace and Blessings,

I disassociated myself back in 1991 because of years of questioning my heart and inner feelings concerning events and situations arising from within the congregation and organization. I was married to an elder, I was a regular pioneer, had four daughters, financial security, so there was a lot at stake for me to make the decision to leave all of this behind me. At that time Darryl Willis was an elder and Dale Erickson was a ministerial servant and Dale moved away as he and his family did periodocally, and even back at that time these two men had some very questionable business practices,( they have been so called business partners off and on for years). I commented to my former husband that some of the things I knew that were going on in the congregation were disturbing to me, especially the lack of love and ethics of those in "responsible positions", ( my elder husband used to talk about the problems and committee meetings to me, so much for the confidentality of wrongdoing, and no wonder, some of the things were horrendous, everything from A to Z "and things in between "so the pedophile cases were not suprising to me when the media started to expose these this past year. I wanted out and no part of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, to disassociate myself seemed the only way out for me at that time.
The last I heard these two men were elders in good standing when they defrauded this elderly woman. I do not know when or if have been removed or what their status is at the present time. My daughters do not discuss anything with me concerning JW's because they view me as an apostate and someone they can't have any real heartfelt contact with.
I have continued to show love and not retaliate their cruel words of contempt, judgement and exclusion of me from their lives. I do believe that everything comes full circle and I hope that many that are trapped in that mindset will awaken and have the courage to reclaim their lives and those that have harmed others will have to take responsibility for their actions.
There was a picture of Una in the Helena Independent Record yesterday, it showed her sitting in front of her bookcase (the books in the case look like the unmistakable WTBS publications. The website for the Helena newspaper is : www.helenair.com. There are several articles regarding this scam in the archives, also in the Billings Gazette and the Montana Standard newspapers.
I would be interested in knowing the answers to some of those questions myself. I will keep in touch with the forum.

I am new to posting to this forum! I DA myself from the Watchtower Society almost 12 years ago. left my abusive "elder" husband, lost my daughters to the organization and had to start over with my life. It was the wisest decision I have made, albeit very difficult. I knew Darryl Willis and Dale Erickson, they were both in the Helena, Mt. congregation and believe me I could tell some stories! Recently, one of my daughters married the son of Darryl Willis. I talked with her and she said I would be invited to the wedding, not the reception, I would have to sit in the back of the kingdom hall, noone would be talking to me, etc, etc. I chose not to go to the wedding, a very painful decision. I will have to say that in light of the appalling practices that are occuring at an incredible rate by those who are within this organization that are so quick to judge others, I feel somewhat vindicated for leaving behind this so called form of "spirituality". When I left my family years ago, I told them time would tell the truth of things that I found to be ethically and morally corrupt within the WTBS and those that used religion to practice these things. My conscience would not let me be a part of the things I saw and were allowed to be accepted.
I hope someday my daughters whom I love dearly, come to realize that LIFE is beautiful and needs to be lived every day! With each of us accepting responsibility for our own spirituality, showing unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness to others to the best of our ability, the world indeed becomes a better place.PEACELILY
