  i need to trace a phone number but i don't want to pay for the service.

  does anybody know of any websites where i can find the info for free?

  i've been looking for the past hour+ and only found sites that charge.

  my girls who are seven and nine are grieving their great grandmother on their father's side, lovely woman.

  It must make you very proud to see you daughter be so confident and eloquent. Good on ya!!

  Now as far as your mother goes, you'll have to let us know how that goes. It is a breach of trust for them to continue preaching at her despite your wishes. It is so typical, after all God's ..oops I mean Brooklyn's rules take priority over all else including parental demands. I hope it goes well for you.

  Question for Ex-Elders

  i apologize in advance if seems like i have started to many new threads, but this site no pun intended has been awakining.

  i could not ask for my life to be much better, but there is one problem that i have.

  i know it is not healthy but it is my life, i have been smoking even before i left the org.

  The official party line is that for someone who has been out for a great deal of time they will not pursue things unless you are 'actively seeking out association with current JW's" If they perceive you as a threat to the well-being of the congregation, yes they will proceed with a judicial committee.

  If your family is your only JW contact, fess up but assure them that you respect them enough never to do it in their presence.

  Personal opinion, they don't need to know how long you have been smoking. It will rub their nose in it unnecessarily.

  Last personal comment, for the sake of your son, give thought to quitting.

  PS - The exception to the above is if any of the elders really disliked you and want to do a power trip on you, they will still work to df you.

  Advice Needed

  i stopped going to meetings over a year ago as i'm a lesbian and have finally accepted it.

  i was a witness for 22 years, since i was born.

  now i missed my friends at the hall at first, but now i have some amazing new friends that love me no matter what.

  It is tough to give out advice about such a personal decision.

  Just remember that the elders have no more authority over you than what you allow them to have. They have no right to know anything about you, your life, your choices nor your sexuality.

  For your jw friends, just let them know that you are interested in keeping their friendship but it is up to them. If they want to be your friend excellent but if they are going to be spies for a bunch of power-tripping old men, that too is their choice. You'll miss them but respect their choice.

  It is tough letting go of a former way of life and the people that go with it, but if it means personal freedom, enjoyment of life and better quality of life for you, then stick it through and enjoy the benefits of your decision.

  But I do want to repeat one thing Elders have no authority over you except what you give to them.

  Good luck and let us know how things progress.

  Unfortunately your numbers can't work since "JC Anon" is an abbreviation of his full name (while off his meds), namely Jesus Christ Anonymous. Other wise it is just plain Gary.

  It is really too bad that in 10 years he is still suffering from the same dilusional thinking. Who would think that a man lying in a dumpster would have the instant revelation that he is Jesus Christ incarnate by day and female impersonator by night. Oh let's not forget the infamous JIOR group and their fleet of black helicopters.

  There is a thin line between genius and insane. Gary likes to skip rope on the line. Brilliant mind deluded by mental illness.

  Don't feed the insanity. The guy needs help.

  Describe the Perfect Woman or Man....

  ok after the serena williams thread and a few others that focus on looks i want to know what your idea of perfection in the opposite or same sex is.. i like muscular men with a full head of hair, i love classic features like a strong nose and jaw.. i also find blond blue eyed men sexy (don't ask me why).

  i don't like that are to thin, nice teeth and soft eyes.. ok now it's your turn.. .

  The trouble with finding the perfect woman is that she is looking for a perfect man.

  There are so many things that to find attractive in a woman. I love big round dark brown eyes but also have fallen and got lost in the sea of blue in a woman's eyes. Thin lips (think Margot Kidder in her early career), but also love fuller lips such as Jessica Alba. I prefer women with form. Anorexia just doesn't do it for me. I don't want to be afraid she'll break. As long as her belly isn't bigger than mine it's all good! So too I cannot find a woman attractive that has more hair on her chest than I do. Now I haven't met any woman that does but I want it clear in advance that is a deal breaker right there!

  Body types? Tall short 'average', hassn't mattered historically however since I am near 6' 5" taller girls are easier on my neck. Women are just beautiful pieces of art and to state one masterpiece is more perfect than another doesn't do either justice.

  That stated I have found physically stunning women that have such empty souls that an ugliness smears the beauty. Conversely I have known women of average looks become breathtaking when the personality shines through.

  I guess the perfect woman for me is the woman who loves me despite or because of my flaws, can challenge me intellectually, loves me with the same intensity as I would her. I am also a major cuddler so that would be rather important too. A woman with such internal beauty that I will find her stunning and want to date her even after being married 40 years.

  less than one week after meeting with two elders who had been told of my visiting this site, a good friend called me.

  he said his mother (age 73), in a different city from me, called him and told him she heard i was now an apostate.

  now how the hell did that happen?
