QFR: New light on Annointed? No more Holy Spirit than the rest of us?

question for all of those in the know:.

i've been getting snipits of info on some threads concerning some possible "new light" that was supposedly in a recent questions from readers.

from what i could briefly gather, it states that the annointed don't have any more "holy spirit" inside them than do the great crowd.

Brooklyn has long differentiated between those CLAIMING to be anointed versus those on the Governing Body of whome there 'can be no doubt of their status.'

It is also a way to keep those upstart female 'chosen ones' from trying to teach while still alive on earth. They only have special status once they die and actually sit with Christ in the heavens. (gawd it is tough to type this crap and not throw up a little)

It is only the GB and the Nethinem class that have any special insights per the WTBS. Everyone else must be in subjection to them.

MY DAD MIGHT DIE DUE TO THE 'NO BLOOD' DOCTRINE

i don't have much time to post as i'm headed back to the hospital, but my father collapsed this morning and had to be rushed to the hospital.

in a nutshell: he needs a blood transfusion as his hemoglobin is dropping (bleeding internally), but thanks to this fucking cult, that's not an option...........he'll accept the fractions but those bastards from the blood liaison committee have already shown up to ensure he doesn't cave............... for those of you who still believe, i'm asking you to say a prayer for my dad........and if anyone from crooklyn is reading this: you better hope my father doesn't die due to your fucked up rules, .

You know I think you are one of the most intelligent women I've met online (right up there with Scully, Leolaia, Blondie) so it pains me to say this, "You are being dumb!" The doctors had to twice cauterize an existing ulcer. 3 days of Robaxecet w/ aspirin did not cause the ulcer. Therefore you did not cause the problem!

While aspirin can reduce the blood's ability to clot (aka blood thinner) that did not cause the ulcer which was what was bleeding and which caused the problem.

Even if the aspirin contributed to the situation, the majority of people wouldn't know the difference between to two different kinds. In this case your knowledge is leading you to feel guilt and your intellect isn't kicking in to tell you that you shouldn't be beating yourself up over it.

You also took action to help your father who was in pain. How many kids aren't even willing to take out the garbage never mind do those kinds of errands for their parents.

Do "Apostates/ex-jws" picket their "new" churches if they disagree?

it seems that every ex-jws now has so much rage at the wt society for the way they were treated and all of the scandals.

i was wondering though if an "apostate/ex-jws" found disagreement or scandal in their new church would they picket or get on the internet or get on tv warning people about the christian church?

i can answer that question with one word no.

Interestingly, despite your allegations, most her have never picketed against the Society. Most are simply looking to capture some kind of existence after all the lies they have held as truth were dessimated.

Most do not feel a need to picket the JW's or anything else that lied to them. Otherwise you would see 40,000 per year with picket signs. So your premise is faulty from the outset.

People have been controlled lied to and deceived and are trying to cope with that as best they can. Contrary to Society-Think, most former JW's just want to enjoy what they have left in their lives and the Society is a meaningless entity. When one leaves the Borg they do not become sex crazed drug addicts amoral in their behaviour. Most maintain the moral standards but forego the religious bindings of Pharisees (aka the Watchtower Society).

Barry. Yoru comments are technically correct since the Geneva Conventions were written before terrorism became the preferred tactic of some. Tho there is also a strong argument that in any civil war (e.g. US Civil War), the non-government factions can be labelled terrorist in that they are not part of a unified/uniformed army (such as unaffiliated milita groups).

Regardless of the technicality, the Geneva Conventions were written about respecting human dignity even during conflict. This basic premise of Humanity precludes the use of torture. Basic human rights of rights to food, dignity and respect need to be given even if the person being detained did not offer this to others.

Being inhumane to other humans drops us down the evolutionary chain significantly rather than growing. "Justified" inhumanity is still inhuman.

Ken Little may not be gay but he is certainly a frustrated little man. He is the same guy that during the Bethelite orientation talks about avoiding masturbation by praying and holding the bible in BOTH hands!

I can't comment on his gayness but he is an angry little man, afraid of people in general (works himself up to go up and say hello) but is very power hungry and deeply resents anyone who challenges his authority.
