Well if someone did that to Bethel 10 years ago, I'd be dead.
I don't revel in the thought of anyone dying. I find it somewhat repugnant that some would, even in jest.

you know how some of us guys have to put on a bit of an act sometimes, we have to set our faces into our coping scowl, but underneath, we're too well aware of just how soft we are?
well.. what music to the big guys here only, not you wimpy bunch, brings a tear to your eye or which films is it that you need to keep a box of tissues handy by you to wipe away the dampness in your eye?.
for celtic it's a track by dido - white flag and also black eyed peas - where is the love?
From the time I was 12 until I was 31 ,I could not cry even if I wanted to. After leavng Bethel and my entire world was gone (the realization that it was all a hoax), depression set in and emotions came back, with a vengenance! I was an emotional wreck the first couple of years after that (circa 1995-99) Stupid stuff would make me get tear eyed.
I got better.
About the only thing guaranteed to make me tear up now is "Amazing Grace", the song not Mouthy but she is pretty amazing too. Even when my Dad died I was able to keep myself composed throughout the funeral even during the eulogy (tho my voice faltered a few times.) But when the bagpiper started playing amazing grace, I lost it.
Fare Thee Well by the Rankin Family can have a similar effect.
Of course AHEM, this is all theoretical right? It's not like us guys are really crying per se, its just ummm a mild irration of the eyeball which causes the tear ducts to release more fluid to cleanse the eye. That's not really crying...

this should be interesting, .
how many of you have thought or have left your mate for someone else, was it worth it, or worth it that you stayed ???.
going through a difficult time right now, we've been together 15 years now, no kids, shes a couple years older then me.
I am turning 40 in July. I understand the desire to be with someone much younger. Maybe it is mid-life. Scary admitting that mid-life applies to us isn't it?
I had an 18 year old interested in me. I was a mentor to her, larger than life in her mind. She pursued me but I said no to her. It wasn't fair to her. It wasn't right. Now keep in mind I am single and recently unattached. I still said no. Now some may call me a fool for saying no to her advances but I was true to myself.
I can't help but feel there is more to this than what you stated in your post. A little jealousy does not justify giving up on a relationship!

Be true to yourself.
As tantalizing as a younger woman can be, is it worth it? Only you can know the answer to that. Is a maybe worth giving up the sure thing you currently have with your current? Are you giving her reason to be suspicious? I helped out a friend as night manager of her Pub and know the temptations that exist but again you have to ask, 'is it worth it?'
Is it her self esteem that is lacking or do you contribute to it by indifference or lack of consideration to her? Is it baseless? Is it something you can live with?
Change for the sake of change is dumb. You should have a damned good reason for giving up on something you have (at one time) committed to.
This is just my not so humble opinion. Take it or leave it.
