  I have found something truly horrific.

  to present this properly, i will need a scan of the page in the live forever book where the thief is running from the police clutching a bag of goods.

  I stared and stared till my eyes were dry. then it popped out at me. Check out the thief's shirt. Almost the entire middle part forms what looks to me like a bat's head. Long pointy ears, beady eyes and a slight frowning mouth.

  OMG the Watchtower has just outted BATMAN!!!

  If you stare at any random pattern long enough your mind will still finding shapes. It's called imagination. We did it all the time when we were kids making shapes out of random clouds.

  The good old days and the "smart people" thread.

  i also think that some long-time posters that have met over the years feel like family and see some of the more "junior" members as interlopers in their "home".. comments are often made about the "good old days" when jwd was full of smart people.. it is often lamented that it is currently inhabited by a bunch of idiots that pale in comparison to the glorious ones of yesteryear.. " these brothers today just aren't as zealous.

  remember when we'd be out in service till dark?

  alot of these newer ones quit at noon.

  Well this old fart (dating back to before Simon's aka B.S. as opposed to BCE) rather enjoys the regular influx of 'kids'. I remember the days when .. hmmm I fergit now what I was gonna say.

  It keeps the forum fresh. Us old folks can sit around in our rockers privately and complain and reminisce all we want but newbies and you youngins rock (cough cough hack hack)

  going through and sorting some pictures from the past decade or two and found these shots from the bethel archive room that i helped create while serving at the canada branch.. this should feed the chronology frenzy for a little while.

  i believe these have appeared in the magazines before but just in case.... .

  i know where some of your minds went with this topic name but ... just in time for all the horror movies and halloween scares ..... .

  Reporter: Family members are quoted as stating "Peter is always trying to get into tight places and it often gets him in trouble." Men from around the world have reported similar problems with their peters.

  You may want to be careful about expressing how much you love snakes.... Someone might misconstrue your comments. Not me of course but some..

  Peter Python: Well humans at that early hour are always scary looking.

  Reporter: How do you feel now that you are free?

  Peter Python: Well I was flushed for a while but am tank-ful to be free. For a while there I was thinking to myself ur ine trouble now.

  Woman In Shock After 7-Foot Python Peeps Through Her Toilet

  Thursday October 18, 2007 This sounds like a made-up story just in time for Halloween. But everyone's nightmare really happened to a New York City woman and she's still struggling to get over it.

  Nadege Brunacci was in the bathroom of her apartment at the crack of dawn Monday morning, and fortunately for her she was only washing her hands. But she felt like someone was looking at her, so she glanced around the tiny room. What she saw staring back at her nearly gave the 38-year-old a heart attack. Peeking out of her toilet were the beady eyes of a 7-foot long python.

  At first she wasn't sure just what that thing in her bowl was. "I thought my daughter dropped her sweater in it, to tell you the truth. She is five years old and the shadow was so big, I was like - it's not possible," she recalls. And then she turned on the light and began screaming. The full length of the serpent was still coiled in the pipes, but one glimpse was enough to convince Brunacci to get out of there, pronto. She slammed down the lid, put a heavy box over it and called her landlord and the local fire department.

  And this snake in the grass - er - toilet wasn't easy to rescue. Crews were forced to tear up her downstairs neighbour's pipes and managed to eventually pull the lengthy creature out of its coiled containment. It's still not clear how the python got there.

  So what happened to it? Officials gave it to Brunacci, who in turn handed it over to a friend. That pal has decided to keep it as a pet. Its new name? What else: "Nadege."

  The restaurant owner whose day got off to such a scary start admits she'll never quite feel the same again about going into the little girl's room. She's now using her daughter's training toilet whenever nature calls at home. "I'm looking over my shoulder," she admits. But perhaps that's not the right direction. Maybe she should be looking down instead.
