I am looking for anyone who is willing to help in this very unusual request. And I am sure I will get some criticism too. I can take it. I am 40 and find opinions interesting and something to learn from, but I still make my own decisions.

After many. many years of searching for a Church I can feel comfortable going to, I have found a home at All Saints Catholic Church. I know you all have comments about the doctrine etc. But I feel at peace there. It is a peace I have not ever felt. I have been attending Mass for about 2 years there. I can not take communion as I am not Catholic. I started taking a catholic class called RCIA this fall. I have learned a lot of interesting things. I have learned how all religions tie together to different beliefs that ultimately bring them to peace with God.

I was married before to a witness. I was a baptized witness and my husband was a baptized witness. The Catholic Church does not acknowledge that marriage to be valid in the eyes of the Church. The Church agrees it was a legal marriage, but not the sacrement that a Catholic takes. Marriage in the catholic church is between 2 baptized christians and the marriage is a sacrement between the couple and God. It is a bond that can not be broken. If I get this Pauline Priviledge Petition approved, I will be married again to my current husband, really a renewal of vows and then take communion for the first time. My husband has proposed again to me.

I need the testimony of a reliable witness who is willing to say that my former spouse, Tom Smith of Knoxville, TN was unbaptized (was baptized as a witness, which doesn't count) at the time of our marriage and he remains unbaptized. I am certain he has not been baptized again, I only need one person.

My problem is, the witnesses that knew us when we were married, do not know us now. And the friends I have now are not his friends since we have both left the JW's and have been divorced since 1999. Besides, I doubt any active witnesses would be willing to help me become Catholic anyway.

I was Jill Hitchcock when we married in May 1988 and my first husband is Tom Smith. My married name was Jill Smith, I used to attend the Halls Kingdom Hall in Knoxville, TN. I also attended South Knoxville and Maryville cong. If anybody feels they know us well enough to be the witness I need, please let me know. I will be eternally grateful.

I have called on you kind folks when my back was against the wall before and you have always come through for me. I am hoping for another such stroke of luck.

I got baptised yesterday!

i had to give a testimony in church.

i kept on having to stop to take a deep breath as the tears were threatening to come pouring out into the ugly cry.

To speak to the St John's Wart recomendation, this can have a reaction to the birth control pill. So be careful if you give this one a try.

My sister has bi-polar disorder and has tried many different medications. It is a constant battle, but she seems better lately.

No matter who you are with, it is only a matter of time until beauty and youth disappear. Are you with a gentle person? Are you with a generous person? Are you with a wise person? These are the things that keep relationships strong.

True Brad Pitt will never be ugly, but is he a good person? How many wives has he had? What is it he does in Amsterdam anyway?

Looks are not everything. A person becomes more beautiful or ugly as their true selves show.

Make wise choices because life is short.

Feng Shui Anyone?

Staircases make energy move up and down too rapidly, so you need to place heavy solid objects at the bottom of the staircase and wrap silk vines around the banisters to slow the energy down. You need to hang a crystal at the top of the staircase to keep the energy from falling down to the center.

I hate Walmart!

i rarely ever set foot in the place and will go out of my way to avoid shopping there.

tonight i made the mistake of giving walmart the benefit of the doubt and walked in the door.. they didn't have the main item i was looking for, but they did have one other small item.

i headed to the front to check out only to find they had only a few check-outs open and all of the lines were far too long.

I worked for several years for a company that prided itself in customer service. I learned a lot of valuable lessons from working there now that I own my own business. As best as I can, I do what is right for my customer. But I charge more than average. I am not the most expensive, but up there.

I have found most customers find that price is not their biggest concern. They want service. They want it to be easy. They want you to anticipate their needs. If you can do this, you will be successful.

If you can take the "Godfather " approach, that it is not personal, it's business, you will be rich.

As far as Walmart goes, I too hate shopping there as the store associates are rude, the customers are rude, the aisles are too narrow. But in the bigger picture, it is a minor inconveinance. However, I will shop elsewhere if I can. They are cheaper overall, if I can deal with all that goes with it.

I have this Walmart documentary DVD in my netflicks lineup. From what I have read, I am looking forward to it more than ever.

i'm sure some of you remember the seinfeld episode where jerry drops his girl's toothbrush in the toilet, picks it out, and then catches her using it before he's told her.

would you wait and throw the old one away?

As far as germs go, if it fell into the water of the flushed toilet and you clean your toilet on a regular basis, probably not telling is not going to be harmful.

I think.

So I vote for don't tell and just live with your own guilty conscience.

Need help with info on homeschool

I was home schooled through Cambridge Academy School Correspondence courses based in Banner Elk, NC. I started in the 8th grade with Calvert School.

I am a very self motivated person and was as a teenager too. .

BUT......

home schooling is the WORST possible education available. Why on EARTH would you put you child through this challenge? I was a 3.85 GPA student and went to 1.6 as I need a teacher and I enjoy the competition of the other students.

I did somehow manage to get my high school diploma but I ABSOLUTELY would not recommend this type of one sided education to anyone. Math and English was my best subject and I started failing these basic classes with home schooling. The design of home schooling is to set the books before the child and let him just figure it out. I guess this is a good life skill. But I never learned to play an instrument and I still have trouble relating to people.
