agape?a jw ? they are so plastic and fake .The only thing they want is to save their own asses.The only love they now is when the watchtower tells them . when to feel and how to feel.I rember going to meetings and the fake smiles and looking at each other was creepy.It was not narural or self taught. kls

The US is not happy with us
by JH insince the canadians didn't vote to support the us against iraq, i heard on the radio that the us is not too happy with canada, especially quebec, where i live.
in montreal 200,000 people took to the streets last week to protest against the war in iraq.. trade between canada and the us could be hurt because of this.
do you place canada in the same category as france and germany, since we are against the war?.

Depressed beyond Words...
by Shytears indid u ever feel so depressed u felt the only thing that could get rid of the pain was to commit suicide???
?...well i tried that tonite,i know its not a good thing ,but i felt it was the only way out..well im still here so i didnt do it,thank god,my wrists have lil cuts everywhere tho,i just hope no one sees them..if u guys remember me yall know it has been an ongoing battle with my parents cause i dont wanna be a witness.. now i literally cannot do nothing!

shytears, i was a very depressed teen,not that i was brought up in a jw home but very uncaring family member. i also tried to end the pain and the feeling of dispare,seems no matter what i tried even cutting my wrists(still have scares) i always survived.the only advice i can say is ,you are youre own person. you have to get tough and not crumble.it seems amost impossible now to see light at the end of the tunnel but it is there. you have to think into the future because you do have a future.you do not have to spend youre life living with youre parents those days are numbered,you are getting old enough to move out on youre own or share a place with someone.think of what you want for youre future and don't let any one or thing get in the way.remember you are a person with youre own mind , thoughts,feelings and goals.if parents want to be jws well thats fine but you do not , you are not them. get tough and strong you deserve a life that you want not what they want. the best of youre life is yet to come. BIG HUGS LIFE IS WORTH LIVING kls

i still belive in most of the teachings but its the people in the org.
that have turned me away.. the reason that i am posting though is this, i have been inactive for a few months now but i have been holding out telling my parents, friends etc.

should shunning be reversed?
by kls init is so sad when i read threads of persons finding their in a cult, and want out .problem ,their family will shun them and ignore there own children and close family members.what if things were reversed?
what if the person leaving this cult shunned their loved ones, letting them know they are being brainwashed and you don't want their sick beliefs being pushed on them all over again.
i do believe cult members enjoy shunning , it makes them feel superior and they feel they are taking a strong stand just like the gb says to do .give them a taste of what they dish out ,shun the jw, if they won't convert to using their own mind, shun them with out guilt .
