In all seriousness, I don't think you were wrong, just the wrong person. Call me a RINO or whatever, but Gen. Colin Powell could have been, IMO, an excellent President. Supposedly his wife was afraid of assassination attempts and just wanted him to retire and live a "normal" life.
But in the event of a major international issue, I would much rather have Powell speaking into a camera telling the facts than those with, shall we say, protracted hanging down parts and don't know which end of a gun the bullet comes out of (Obama, Trump).
I guess I just respected Powell a lot. Just my opinion.

Generally race relations have, IMO, gotten better in 2020 and recent years.
Them people are finally learning to stay in their own part of town and keep to their own kind. Otherwise they'll be one less of 'em to worry about.

Remember, they can come up with a couple of hours for anyone for just talking to you and "confirming" that you have talked to others.

Maybe some just make a call or write a letter, then drive to the donut shop on the other side of town for a curb-side pickup, and then go back home, get on-line and talk for a half hour or so before writing another letter.
That helps to "keep the routine."
For return visits, call the same person you called earlier. Then apologize, make an excuse, tell them you are sorry to have bothered them, and count it as a return visit.

The last I remember, Gog and Co. was leading up to the Great Tribulation and he had a hook or something in his jaw bringing them to the "faithful" and then God steps in to prevent the annihilation. That's when Armageddon begins, people get pulverized and then the unclean and hated birds have lunch.
It can be a bit hard to put all the Ezekiel, Jeremiah and John (Revelation) pieces all together in one movie. That comment is not in jest. I really could never figure out how all the pieces (wild beast, image of the wild beast, gog of magog) and all of the flying horses in heaven all came together at the same time.
Maybe the final version is still on the drawing board.
