  disfellowship but never, ever announce it.. this new procedure is to be confirmed - anyone else come across it?.

  Yes, I heard about that for brothers involved in fornication.

  The lower, hanging down parts are put into a Society-approved container and then quickly removed to reduce the number of future "problems".

  Afterwards, it will be up to the local body of elders whether to refer to the person as a brother or a sister. Instead of he or she, our CO suggested it may be best to refer to the person as "it".

  In any case, standing up when peeing will be a memory from the past.

  New York City...OMG What Is Happening??

  look at the new york post online today and watch the videos of mayhem and destruction to the city with fires all over manhattan.

  the police vehicles are being destroyed and torched and the rioting just goes on and on.. i regularly went to nyc sometimes once a month for years.

  now, who on earth would want to go to this hellhole??.

  You know how the process works. Trump is at 38% one week, 50% the next week, etc etc etc.

  It all depends upon 38% or 50% of who you are polling. I do think there were more hidden Trump voters at some point but now with Biden, I think there are a lot of hidden Biden voters who do not necessarily want to raise their hand and say "I'm for Biden". Personally, I think a large number Biden voters are not "for" Biden but against Trump.

  Wouldn't that screw up the shunning process?

  If you get DF'd and not know it, that could cause major mental issues.

  You may think you are DF'd, then start to talk to yourself, shun yourself, and then get up and leave the room.

  I know there are some other elders / ex-elders here and would appreciate any thoughts on creating my own prophesy. I don't want to get DF'd or anything, but the black goat thing just has my mind spinning.

  Like the black goat has the feet of a lion or something. Maybe it deceives and misleads those who listen to its voice.

  I could come up with dozens of ideas. And then I could try to understand how my own prophesy would be fulfilled.

  I just don't want to get into trouble.

  That building from the outside looks like one of the units Barry Weiss bought on Storage Wars the other night. He paid $800 for it but found some baseball memorabilia that he ended up selling for over $2900.

  Not a bad return on a storage locker ($2900 - 800 = $2100).

  Maryland's current Republican governor, Larry Hogan ... might be angling for the 2024 nomination.

  Yes, I bet he is. He talks coherently and doesn't call people he doesn't like childish names. He definitely seems and governs like a "normal" person, if there is such a thing.

  He could lose a few pounds, but other than that, he seems like he is a very informative and viable candidate if he chooses to run.
